Wth her stats like that it could mean placeholder stats, or...

-that we have some control over stat growth now.
- or coz she's level 5, maybe they've assigned stats to increase with levels.

Definately hoping for 1 of these 2 instead of just placeholder numbers.

I also noticed she still uses her old TT model. Her figure has a different design, she has drop patterns on her back and her sleeves only have stripes on the edges.

I noticed that too, though I think her walking animation was slightly changed.

Just slightly, she holds her free hand up high now. She also didn't slam the staff on the ground when she stopped,but that just might be the sound effect.

Guess that might be a placeholder as well, looks a bit too SWAP Force/SuperChargers-ish to me.
Lots of things seem to be placeholders this year (even the bases might be, who knows, right...? Right...? No, I guess they aren't) but I'm not worried: they seem to be focusing on the truly important things, this time.

In Trap Team we got the new Magic Moments, the new Portal, the new UI and all those little touches right from the reveal... Only to have villan timers and Elemental Gates out of nowhere, at E3.
This time they simply improved what we already saw and didn't change anything heavily.
As of now Imaginators does lack the identity the previous five games had, in my opinion, but I have full faith in TfB and their love for those little touches.

Oh, almost forgot to mention Crash being an Adventure Piece itself.
Don't know who I have to thank for this but THANKS.
Smart idea.

I'd actually want it to happen, but Acti wouldn't have it ever. Worse, they might make everyone overwork themselves like with one of the COD titles and destroy TFB's morale forever.

I wouldn't mind a small delay (would have accepted it more with SuperChargers, really hyped for Imaginators) but I still think we are safe.

Those are all small details and there as still 4 months before the release.
The important stuff is here, doubt they'll take a lot to finish with those aspects.

Well we did get (albeit a few) updates to SC through patches so there's hope that they can fix any little details in the final version. This stuff on the portal and the magic moment is a little worrying though since those can't be fixed as easily. I hope they go for changing the portal at least a little because reiterating the exact same portal from SF is a little cheap.

They did, considering they spent the first half of development creating the Trap and speaker mechanics. Having everything on the Alchemy engine must've made the creation menu a bit easier on them, but they probably still went back to get things on SSA and Giants or 3DS versions. That said villains must've saved them time since the models and animations are there, they just needed to be changed around where necessary.

There was the fact that Phoenix Psanctuary was the only level with enemy introductions (iirc) and I thought they would've fixed that with SC but there were only a few in there too. It bothered the living crap out of me that trolls got introductions but you had to guess on how to fight the enemies later on in that level.

I can almost guarantee that the next game, not all characters will be compatible.
Well I can't guarantee it, but I wouldn't be surprised. The amount of characters is becoming ridiculous, but I'm not saying I'm upset about it.

They already said they'd move to cloud save to keep characters from taking up space. They aren't the problem, the time spent creating more or greatly altering existing ones is. 10 months of development for an AAA are no joke.

implementing all the old characters into new games isnt as hard as you think as long as they arnt changing to a majorly different programming language, even then rewriting charatcers specs isnt a big deal coz they have something to work off. It's defiantely more work to make new characters and sort out their movement, balancing and physics with their attacks as well as catchphrases etc.

Even then these people are professional game programmers, they arnt stupid and theyve been at these games for 5 years. Give em a little credit.

And it's a FREAKING TANK fashioned into a weapon, also, where did you get that from?

Also, I saw in the video of Yroc making the Undead Bowslinger Imaginator that apparently Imaginators can have their abilities upgraded, albeit not as much as regular Skylanders obviously, and that apparently you can create a custom color palette for your Imaginator. Both of those things I just thought were neat. Just bringing them up because no one's really mentioned it.

That reminds me of something... oh yeah, NIIGHTFALL! I thought about the broken Nightfall and figured that they'll probably treat her like a chase variant. Chase Variants always had the "Special" underneath their name no matter how old or rare they are. Of course Nightfall wouldn't have a "Special", but I think they shouldn't treat her any differently. VV knew that there were people out there who still had her even though they've recalled all of them. I hope that TFB will keep that in mind and put her into the game.

Keep in mind it could be an error, like TRU exclusive even if Gamestop also has it up for preorder.

That said I'm not touching it either way even if it's on WiiU as well, as tempting as an extra level can be. Importing something that costs 60 bucks is hard enough.

If you select the Wii U option, it says "Sorry, there are no retailers in your area for this selection."

Also, on all the starter packs, there are options for each non-Playstation platform but without the trademark symbol, all of which say the above message when selected.

Almost certainly an error.

So, today I found out they added microtransactions to Superchargers, and now I'm worried that will happen in Imaginators as well. The Imaginite seems kind of built around the Microtransaction idea, doesn't it?

Toys for Bob may have learned that lesson.
But Activision...
I mean, microtransactions in Triple A titles are nothing new and they're always pretty scummy, but to include them in a toys to life game just screams "We just want your money!"
And I wouldn't be surprised if Activision chose to do this too.

Phoenix Crystal is the best unreleased Crystal.
Skylanders Academy Season 2 was an improvement.
I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future.
