There are no wow pows that I really find bad, but there are some that I think are rather disapointing.

Best
Stump smash
Sonicboom
Lightning rod
Slam bam

Least useful(or worst)
Double trouble(I could have thought of a better one for my favorite character)
Trigger Happy

And I'm predicting Spyro's will be pretty useless.

Sonic Boom's is quite useful if you prefer the Siren path, since it gives you a remotely useful (if a little horrifying) baby.

Bash and Zap's are quite ho-him, a bit of an AOE you can use while 'dashing' (Boulder roll/Sea slime respectively).

Ignitor's seems better geared towards his Flame spirit path, that said, the path it leaves is quite devastating even if you use the sword path.

Zook... well it makes mortar somewhat more accurate, and I'm a fan of attacks that hit ledges, so it's got a plus in my books.

Chop Chop, I tend to prefer hacking the living heck out of my enemies, so a beefed up shield bash really doesn't do much for me. I guess if you're on the shield path it's a godsend.

Drill Sergeant, it makes his Auto blaster actually damaging, rather than pin pricks. Still not a game breaker, but it's a nice gesture.

I've been rather restrained with my Series 2 figures, once I've got S2 Wrecking ball I'll likely not get any more.

Eruptor's has an amazing use: It can bust through Inhuman Shields.

Prism Break's is very powerful.

Drobot (Yeah, yeah, I know, not out yet.) can use his to go around shielded enemies.

Hex has the best. 280 damage per hit!

Huh? Double Trouble's is fantastic in PVE as it destroys all minor enemies while you circle strafe major enemies to death.

Maybe disappointing in PVP due to very few secondary targets...

I would have wanted him to summon all 3 doubles at once, or the magic bombs getting a wider range.

Oh come on no! Could he get any more OP? Yes I know he's slow and has low HP, but he's still OP because all you do is spam the eldritch beam with little effort.

They don't need to make him anymore overpowered in PvP. Not the strongest guy in the game, but still.

It's more of a liability than anything else when it activates because you didn't pause long enough before trying to use acrobat to flip away.

I only have 1 series 2 skylander, but from what i've seen, i think i like sonic booms alot. (if you're on the babies path its even better) i dont know about the worst. but i am gonna say the first thing that pops in my head: smilie the lightning storm thing is cool, but i prefer other things. (i never actually used it though lol)

I don't find it an accident that the "core" character's wow pows are great. According to Eric Hishberg, CEO of Activision, the core skylanders are what the series is all about...the rest of these guys are secondary.

They don't want to, but so many characters do stand out. The fact that most peoples' answers generally draw from the same pool of names confirms this.

Anyway, I second Hex. The fact that she can utilize all of her other attacks, and even charge up another skull servant, all while the first is still active and rapid-firing 280-damage bursts, is just plain broken. Runner-up is Stump Smash, who now has better DPS than Drobot without even trying thanks to that Wow Pow.

Worst? Definitely Stealth Elf, but consider that an official acknowledgement that she was overpowered to begin with and didn't need a helping hand.

Yes, Stump Smash's Wow Pow is better DPS than Master Blaster Drobot. Honestly, it's not even close. I know it sounds crazy, but it's one of those things you have to try to believe.

And I do have low opinions of Trigger Happy, Zook and Double Trouble's Wow Pows, but I don't recall saying they were the worst at any time after I'd bought and played Stealth Elf. Point made, though; there are indeed other mediocre Wow Pows.
LightSpyro13 Blue Sparx Gems: 861
#23 Posted: 04:00:58 18/02/2013
Can't go wrong with Gill Grunt's or Chop Chop's Wow Pows though, some of the best ones; though Gill Grunt's is harder to use. You have to treat it kind of like Soul of the Flame Ignitor, only your enemies have to be near walls rather than getting close. That way, all 3 anchors hit the enemy/opponent (whatever mode you're doing) hit the opponent and triples the damage, though in PvP it depends on the arena.

It's kinda like a mix of SotF Ignitor and Flashwing Super Shards.

1) Hex
2) Chop Chop
3) Stump Smash
4) Prism Break

Hex is definitely #1 in my book as far as Wow-Pow's go. Whoever did the numbers on her needs to be fired. If they ever, EVER, decide to online PvP, expect to see Hex a lot.

While Stump Smash and Prism Break go from mediocre to god-mode with their Wow-Pows, I have to give #2 to Chop Chop. He's an un-hittable tank who stun-locks you while doing stupid damage and is dashing around 24/7. He is really, really strong now. And I'm happy for that, because I've been a Chop Chop fan since Day 1.

^ It may not be a waste, maybe it will give some control to the forcefield attack, adding 30% damage will make its power near 100 damage per hit, a regular one on the spinner path already does like 60 damage, he's going to be much stronger

Although I haven't used it yet, I guess Terrafin's Wow Pow could be useful too.

I dont see how drobot is considered broken. I just played a few matches expecting to annihilate my opponent. loss to bash, then barely beat bash. Then got beat down by flashwing twice by a seven year old. Double trouble stealth elf and eyebrawl dominate for me.thought i could add drobot to that list.Guess not. Plus i needed help with beating prism break cause those three dont get thejob done consistently. Prismbreak and hex are considered broken in our house cause they can get you out in a hurry with the skull buddy and prism wowpow is just unfair.

Cynder's is the worst by far. Deals very, very little damage, and HINDERS her by making it so that she's unable to dash right out of flight. It's only useful for clearing out Chompies.

On the converse, Hex's is by far the best, making an already versatile character gain an easy-to-summon AI pet that deals the highest damage numbers in the game.

I've only got series 2 Cynder and Bash, but I like both of their Wow Pows. Cynder's gives her a much needed close range attack that deals decent damage and Bash's is a great way of getting behind those pesky inhuman shields. They're not the best, but still petty dang useful.
