Tech: Trigger Happy is the only tech Skylander I have, but he will probably be replaced by Boomer once I get him.

Air: Sonic Boom, also the only skylander of this element that I have. I'll get Warnado one day though i'm not sure if it'll affect Sonic Boom.
Life: Stealth Elf, the only skylander I have of this element. I'll get Camo some time, though i'm not sure if it'll affect Stealth Elf.

@Tashiji, why don't you use instead of Voodood? Double Trouble is the 2nd best Skylander there is.

Not true. Voodood is an incredibly powerful Skylander when you learn how to use him properly. Once the use of the grappling axe is mastered he can move around the battlefield faster than any other Skylander in the game.

Double Trouble is indeed extremely powerful in most cases, though even he can have moments of vulnerability when using certain attacks or in certain match-ups.

Magic: Voodood. I just recently maxed him out today and from the start he was a prime candidate for my team. He balances it out to 4 long range and 4 short range too. I admit I will deeply miss Dark Spyro, however...
Earth: Dino-Rang. A similar story to Voodood. What really sold me on him is how poor in comparison Prism Break is in the 3DS version of the game(among the balance there... He's awful). Prism Break's Tzo-breaking will be especially missed.
Water: Slam Bam. Really underrated character. A perfect replacement for Stealth Elf. He also has the added perk of being the one character that can completely freeze from the whole cast and his Ice Hammer in particular is especially powerful.
Fire: Ignitor. Never doubted from the start that he was going to be the star of the Element, never considered switching him, probably never will.
Tech: Legendary Trigger Happy. I've had thoughts about swapping him, but for now, he can be the glass canon of my team. (He's also much more fun than the other Tech characters on the 3DS! Tee hee!)
Undead: Cynder. Fun and excellent on both 3DS and console.
Air: Warnado. Another underrated character. Extremely fun on both versions and packs a fine punch(shell?).
Life: Zook. I have to agree with what Tashiji said a while back in that Stealth Elf is TOO strong... Zook is much more fun and unique.

I use Voodood because he's a finesse character. Double Trouble has a pattern that really skilled PVP opponents can figure out and exploit. With Voodood, you never know what to expect, because he's one well-placed Zipline shot from being right on top of you with his A combo. He can escape easily, and wait for mistakes to exploit himself.

Also, Double Trouble is really slow, so while he's plodding along, Voodood is chewing the scenery in Story.

It's because I like the whole package of what Voodood brings to the table a bit better than Double Trouble. I'm not arguing DT's power--he's great--but he's definitely a one-trick pony by comparison to the versatility and speed of Voodood.

I switched some of my characters.

Slam Bam(Blizzard Brawler) for Gill Grunt(Water Weaver): I know it knocks off the Melee-and-Ranged balance a bit, but hey, it's not that important and regardless Ignitor still has decent Melee attacks and becomes an exclusively Melee specialist on 3DS. So the balance isn't that off, and I get a really fun character for it. Funnily enough, Slam Bam can't freeze enemies on 3DS while Gill can.

Cynder(WiiDancer) for Ghost Roaster(Fear Eater): He fills pretty much the same role, but with added invincibility. It's a reason I'd been pondering wether to bring him back for a long time- WiiDancer is excellent, but somewhat frail. Fear Eater fixes those weaknesses while keeping the hit and run techniques of WiiDancer even if he's a bit weaker.

I'm probably going to swap Trigger out for Demolition Boomer and Zook for Vine Camo. Being Happy just doesn't cut it anymore, and I've been thinking about Camo genuinely for a long time because of his HP restoration. I'm going to have to test this out if my sister goes out, but I already decided I like both better on 3DS. Boomer is extremely nimble and powerful, while Camo can dish out quick and consistent damage.

Earth: Hard to argue anyone but Terrafin when saying "Most Powerul"
Fire: Ignitor. I assume you don't own him if he isn't here
Wind: All middle if the pack. I've been digging Warnado lately
Water: Gill Grunt. Would have no problems putting wham-shell here instead. Totally surprised some think he isn't good.

Life: Zook is my man
Undead: Cynder is a shoe-in
Magic: Voodood. Just get over his "plain" look and accept his dominance!!
Drobot: Though if Drill Sergeant gets just a little help in Giants, I'll gladly switch

Skylanders is more about fun than pure power to me. That's why I picked Spyro over Double Trouble, Prism Break over Bash, Gill Grunt over Slam Bam, Flameslinger over Ignitor, Chop Chop over Cynder, and Stump Smash over Stealth Elf.
