I hope it is 3 movies. But they are released 1 a year. Not 1 every 3 years.

I hope the films are done well... To be honest I won't be attending the premieres. I don't have the money to waste on the same exact thing again. I bought the games and that was good enough for me. There comes a time when you have to move on.

So while Universal continues to butcher Spyro on their end I'll do my best to save him with the upcoming Legacy of Ages films and The Destiny Chronicles TV Series.

They aren't butchering him, they're saving him...or trying to. T.L.o.S is gaining way more fans then the old series losing were after Insomniac left. And I'm one of them.
(I'm waiting to hear more of your films Jamieque...But I don't know if it'll do anything to Spyro as a whole...and I'm happy with what EL is doing. And what Krome has done so far.)

No, Aang. I think that yes, they may be attracting NEW fans to the series, but at the same time are boring the old fans. In other words, all they're doing in attracting all the wrong attention.

I guess that means you don't like T.L.o.S then. I wouldn't call it attracting the wrong attention. Spyro was losing too many fans, they needed to refresh the series, get more money. Yes, some fans of the old series hate it and want the Originals to come back, but that kind of game doesn't really sell as well as action type games. And they probably wouldn't be able to recreate Insomniac's world well enough to to keep the old fans happy. Some people, like me, like both. But while I like them, I really don't want the old Spyro to return. Nor is it likely after this. Anyways...

If there was three movies, it is probably going to be 2013-2015, by the time they have finished. Oh well at least it will keep Spyro alive for another few years

I do like TLoS. Infact, I love all of the Spyro games (except mobile). But I found that TLoS isn't well thought and I'm beginning to think it's being made for the sake of gaming and keeping Spyro alive. Oh, and for money. That's all they care about these days.

I happen to love TLOS and want to see it brought to the big screen. I am sure the effects and animation are to be spectacular but I fear that because the man who produced Eragon is behind it...he might not do such a good job with the franchise. I mean...he completely BUTCHERED Eragon....even though that movie wasn't all that bad.

Boring the old fans? Oh, please! Alot of long time Spyro fans have learned to adjust to the new series and for the ones that dismay it for being unlike the original Spyros, I must say this..."What do they care?" They probably grew out of Spyro before the start of the new series. What makes them think they know anything about Spyro's progress? The only way they could butcher it is by creating spin-offs that are rather irrelevant to Spyro's genre (racing, partying) and maybe a cartoon series.

umm...i tink the LOS seires r awesome n that they should make 3 films to keep the fans going..they could even bring out more! ^.^

Eragon was a bad book to begin with. Spyro on the other hand, has loads of potential. But yeah, these guys gave us Eragon and Fantastic Four: ROTSS, so I'm not sure.

I don't think Spyro is suited for a tv series, but a movie might do the series justice. Of course they have to make it based in the games, especially to those who haven't played Legend of Spyro, but that doesn't mean it will be exactly like the games. There will be some alterations so it won't feel like you're watching the same thing again.

Hopefully there will be 3 films for Spyro. I would definitely watch them all! But all that won't happen unless the first one gets good results.

There perhaps could be three movies for the entire trilogy. But right now I think there is The legend of Spyro 3D and a fan made one.

Personally, I just have a bad feeling that they may screw up and go too far with the film. The film is basically the game storyline with a few extra scenes and minor changes done to make it a film instead a game.

I would have felt better if the movies had come first and then the game adaptations. Sorry I said they 'butchered' Spyro but the truth is that they did in a way by not putting the effort into correcting the mistakes the were making with the original storyline. They could have... hell, I could have took the Legend of Spyro storyline and easily worked it into the original storyline of the original Spyro series and it would have turned out a great deal more interesting.

And before anyone here says, "Your bragging" let me say no I am not because I am confident in my skills as a writer and I know I could have done it if I had had the chance but alas that didn't happen. How unfortunate...

*nods* and the older seires is just the same game over again with a few changes. how many times have i seen a level thats very nearly exatctly a level from the other games? lots.

The movie could either be based on all 3 games. All we know for now is that it's based on the Legend of Spyro games. If it was based on the old series, I probably wouldn't watch it.

If they were making 1 movie on 3 games wouldn't the movie be more than 3 hours long or something.

Maybe but not everything from the games will be in the movie. At least not the most important parts.

Kinda, but i don't like the classic spyro! I like TLoS waaay better! sorry all Classic lovers.

You obviously haven't played the GBA games (Excluding the Legend games and that half-assed Crash crossover).

And I think Spyro Classic is a tad bit better. I love the Legend games to death, but they just feel a bit... repetitive after awhile.

I personly think that there should be one movie. Based on ANB, TEN and DOTD.

One movie. I mean, think about it, you could easily blend the three in, cause the games were, unfortunatly, short, but if you blend them together, you would get a three hour long one. I know it sounds long, but if the people do they're jobs right, it would be great. The only thing i dont like, is how the guys made Eragon short, i liked it, but it was too short in my case.

Plus, if i had control of the new TLOS, i would make it very interesting.......No joke. If you say i bragg, then ask me about a story line, i might make like a picture movie, you know, when they draw the pictures of what happens before making the film......storyboards.

I think, if they did make it for more than 1 of the games, it would be for ANB and TEN because you can't realy say that halfway through the film it went forwards 3 years in the future. Also if this movie gets bad reviews then they probably won't make one of TEN and DOTD, which would be stupid because you'd all be like 'I wanna know what happens next' but you can always get the game yourself.

or- Cynder, Spyro and sparx 2 dragons + 1 dragonfly

The classic series rules! TLOS series is kinda weird, but it is kind of okay I guess.

Personally, I prefer the air!! (oops!)

Anyway, I enjoy the newer Sierra trilogy better than the original Insomniac ones. Why? No loud commercials, no over-marketing BS, no corporate puke factor, and no merchandising! But that's gonna change with the movie(s) unfortunately...

Really, two movies could make sense, but considering I haven't finished them all yet, I have very little room to talk on that issue.
