Okay, so another one of my threads have been closed, after people derailed it and ridiculed me, based on their baseless assumptions.

I will say this. I take note of who likes to come after me. To those people I say, you're dead to me. Don't ask for a bit of help, because any help asked for, will go unnoticed. I don't want help from said people as well. Dead is dead. I have better things to do in life, than waste my time on people who flip 180's every second. Don't waste your time with me, either, and that will be that.

I didn't come to this forum, to help and post with my fellow Skylander fans, only to be met with ridicule by people who have nothing better to do in life, than act immature and negative.

I will close this thread myself, or people will add feul to my fire, by posting back. It's whatever. I really don't give a ****. I'm saying my piece, and that's that. but, if the pathetic display of moderation here (they should be going after the negative kids here) and negativity isn't fixed, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Tash refered me to a seemingly mature site devoted to Skylanders and fans. Maybe I will be better treated there. I have signed up, Tash, by the way.

This is just sad. I see good-natured threads being closed all the time, because of immaturity on the part of some posters here.

It just makes me sick. This will be the last post, I post like this. However, it had to be said now. If stupidity reigns here, I want no part of it, and I hope the more mature people here don't take part of it, and we can flock to some other forum, where one isn't ridiculed by stupid assumptions.

i feel with you gamemaster78... i just want to let you know your a very good portal masters and do a lot of good deeds. don't take these kids to serious they are only angry because they couldn't get cynder, but they will soon and then every thing is forgotten....

Could you PM me the website? I enjoy it like you, and can't stand negativity as much as I have seen lately. Dont destroy what's fun just for selfish jealousy. I get jealous all the time of people being fortunate to have the legendaries. Don't see me getting mad at them.

My last thread was in honor of a corporation being nice, but people took it a totally different way. It wasn't even about my collection, as this Drill person said. I REALLY took offense to that. However, it is what it is. Another one of my threads closed. MY TIME WASTED! I don't appreciate wasting my time, typing up something, just for it to be cease to exist.

I'm not going to be childish and point fingers. People should always be held accountable for their actions, so that's what I'm doing. Getting sick of all the negativity here, and if mods want to be biased enough to let negativity reign, this ship can sink and they can't get mad for it, when the mature people jump on the lifeboats to greener pastures.

That should change. I wouldn't mind modding these forums. I'd clean this place up in a heartbeat, but with no bias. However, if whoever the admin is, thinks the way things are ran now, is good, then I guess more power to him/her. You can't learn from mistakes, until the mistakes are made. It's why certain things thrive, while others flounder.

I don't appreciate being ****** with, when all I do is help and show appreciation to others, just for little kids to come and act like little kids.

EDIT: I made this with the intention on closing it. Because lord knows, the negative people can ramble on and not get a slap on the wrist, while people with legitimate opinions and concerns about this site, are just thrown on the backburner. So, I figured I'd do the admin a favor, say my piece, and close this **** myself.

Gimme an hour, and this will be done, just like my last two threads of wasted time.

Relax friend, just let the negative comments wash over you. Afterall most of them are from one time posters, typically children who will never come here again. Please take an hour out and do something that makes you happy, be it a cold drink while watching an American Football game, spending time with your wonderful family or a nice hot bath surrounded by candle light.

You have done many good things for this forum and I respect you for that. Please do not let the mindless comments of a few ruin your attitude towards us fans.

I can tell you want to do good for others, you have genuine concern for people who are left out on figures. Seriously. It's good and all that you're going to ignore people that "hate" on you. But at least see the other side of the coin before simply calling those people trolls or negative people. All you're doing is coming off as a whiner, and I know for a fact that you're better than this, Gamemaster.

You can really be helpful otherwise, though, so don't think we just "hate" you no matter what. We're just tired of you flaunting your collection and purchases in our faces.

I agree that sometimes your collection can come off as bragging, but you have a large collection and just posting a pic of it can come off as bragging, you dont even have to say anything. But over all I find a lot of your posts to be helpful. We all have our separate skylanders goals. For most of us it's just to collect a one set of all the skylanders. If your goal is to have 4 of everything that's your goal plain and simple, people will have to deal with that. That's the nature of collecting. I see you take a lot of crap for only offering help after you have your 4 of each. But i guess in collecting you cant really ask for more. The way I see it is my needs and completing my collection comes before helping others finish theirs and you have told me something similar before. Although if a kid wants what I am looking at I would gladdly hand it over, it is a toy after all The fact that you even offer help says a lot, I know there are a lot of people on here who wouldnt do that. Dont get me wrong, they help in their own ways by providing helpful information but few offer to ship skylanders if they find them and at retail price. I'd love to help out that way if i had the money, but seeing as i just started my job i wont be getting paid for another week or so. But after that I can pick up figures if requested, I get employee discount at Toys R Us so i'm willing to help where I can. Like I said before though, if a new one comes out that ones going to me first. After that I'm more than willing to help and I am glad that you have been too GameMaster. You have offered me help before and i still might have to take you up on your offer.

Personaly I dont feel like he is bragging about anything. He might want some attention but lets face it, at the end of the day we all want some attention, maybe not as much as others or in the form that others might prefer but we all want attention. It's not childish jealousy, GameMaster, it's the fact that some of us are annoyed by you keep showing your collections. I know you intend on trying to help out, but you don't have to brag about the Skylanders toys you managed to get, which you yourself confirmed that you buy 4 out of everything when it comes to Skylanders.

Try not to let it get to you man. You seem like a good guy. We all have our hobbies and we might take one or another of them to different levels than someone else might. The notion of making fun of someone for it only shows their own immaturity, failings, insecurities and emptiness, that they have nothing in their own life to feel passionate about. Anyone who would condemn your passion can go.. take a leap (to put in a G rated way because of the nature of this forum).

We make our own reality. We can surround ourselves with those who "get it". Anyone else? They don't even have to be a blip on the radar. They can be left their own devices, and as it seems in this case: their own petty ways.

Personally, I'm not offended by someone "showing off" there collection. Or by "bragging" how they can get 4 of each kind of Skylander. Good for them. They obviously work pretty hard at it and have some collecting know-how in order to accomplish such a feat.

It would be one thing if said collector posted his/her collection with comments to the effect of "Mine collection rules, yours is terrible." Or ridiculed others for having inferior collections, but I don't see that happening anywhere on this board by any member.

GM posted his collection in his own thread on 12/2/11. He reposted it in the "Show your Collections thread" which was created 5 days later. That seems appropriate since an pseudo-official collection picture thread was created AFTER he posted his own Collection thread.

The only other "Here's my collection thread" he posted wasn't about his collection. It was about recognition he received for his collection from a game developer. Again, I don't see any inappropriate action here. The topic derailed when others commented how they grew tired of seeing post about his collection.

What you see isn't what everyone else sees. Like you said about what we think, you only have an opinion. It's not fact. You see it as sharing your collection. But we see it as you bragging, seeing how you made several topics about it, and how you've bought more toys and such.

And if materials aren't important, stop buying them. Don't buy duplicates, even just to sell them. Because if you believe materials aren't important, you would spread this idea to other people and not spend your own money and time getting the toys for them.

I was sharing that info with everyone, and it got closed down as if I were some troll. The negative derailers here aren't dealt with, while good posts by good people, keep getting closed. There's something wrong with that picture.

I would just like to know if there is a skylander forum/site for adults - the number of kids here is fine, but I'd prefer to have more adult conversations about my obsession!

Keeping on quoting myself *forever alone* but I want to make an extreme comparison here.

It's like talking with someone that is really hungry and needs food, telling him that you want to help him. Then you buy more food than you need, you give him a bit of bread and you show your fridge with too much food, while there's a starvation problem around.

It's the part where I don't understand. I'm sorry... Off Curse you want to help, but I understand as well why they are angry and pissed.

Others have commented on my collection as well, since his tweet, on Twitter. It's just awesome to know there are other Skylander fans out there, who like seeing my collection, instead of shunning it for whatever reason.

This is your topic. You have the right to be proud, the title said it, that you were honored, but where is the part where you show appreciation to the corporation? You did later but it wasn't the main purpose of the topic. You wanted to share that you were proud, and that's fine (even though I thought it would have been more appropriate to add it to your collection topic and bumping it up this way but anyway) but don't say that the purpose of the topic was to show appreciation. It was to show what you were proud of (and as I said, you had the right to)

I have a friend named Jeremy. He browses here. Don't get mad at me for stating your name, Jeremy, but I have to show that people who make false assumptions are spewing bull. Jeremy can't grab the Cynder and Double Trouble I bought for him, until he can handle real world stuff, which is understandable. Still, I not only helped him, but I helped his friend Brian here in my city, get the new triple pack.

Here, you guys can ask this lady as well, how much David (that's me) has helped her out, so she can get these to her kids.

I would mention, Craig, a guy I met a week ago today at Toys R Us. He started gaming in the 80's, while in his 40's, but he doesn't frequent the internet at all. I helped him get Empire of Ice, Double Trouble, Drill Sergeant, and Whirlwind.

Oh, and back to Beverly. I got her a Cynder last night, while having people I know at Toys R Us, hold her a Stump Smash.

You guys got me all wrong. Assumptions truly are the mother of all **** ups.

So tell me who I deprived of chances, because I can't hit all of the stores like scalpers can. Go bark up their tree. You have helped. But it's eclipsed by what you've done wrong in our opinions.

It's not our fault you spent money on that. You just said that material items aren't important. So why are you still buying them? So other people can get the toys? Not your problem that they can't go out and buy the toys in the store, or just wait for them to restock. Cynder is completely fresh out all over where I live (New York City). Am I searching on Ebay or Amazon to get it? No. I'm sitting around, waiting for them to restock. I'm surprised that I apparently have more patience than the people you're selling the toys to.

That last bit isn't just your opinion: That last bit is mine too. We need mods, but Dark's ego gets in the way of doing what's best for the site. I'll agree with you on there.

EDIT: Stop calling names of people you sold Skylanders to. It's not showing us that you helped. It really isn't fixing the fact that you show off your collection at all times.

I'm sorry but this thread screams for attention.

You say you want to help others once your collection is complete, but I have yet to see anyone get help from you. Instead you buy 4+ of everything, and especially at a time when the stock is so limited you telling everyone you have 4 Cynders (for example) doesn't help. Most people can't get one. If you cared about others oh so much why not get one for you and then wait until there's a MASS stocking to get them for your collection. Let someone else use them before you just buy one to stick up on your wall.

At least someone can get enjoyment out of it instead of it collecting dust on your wall and sitting there for years until you or your kids decide to sell it for premium down the line. If you want to collect GREAT but dont act like you want to help so badly and then we never see it, instead we find other reasons why your not helping.

Also, don't tell people that you took volcanic vaults out of Best Buy boxes and then returned them!!!!

You lost all of my respect there. I'm a perfectly capable human being, I don't need your help to find my characters, in fact I got two of all of wave 3 because I was on Gamestops ass for a few days straight.

I feel like you made this thread because you wanted us to be like "OH NO GAMEMASTER DONT LEAVE US WE NEED YOUR HELP AND YOUR COLLECTION"

Look, as I said above. I notice who comes after me. I just don't want no hard feelings if those people come to me needing help, and it falls on deaf ears.

I'm smart enough to stay away from drama-filled people. That was the nature of this thread. I won't continue this argument anymore, and hopefully I can close this thread before the admin can. If not, he will surely close it, as he has my others. If it's due to ego, then this site failed already, and it's only a matter of time until it goes back to being barren like a person mentioned to me in a PM.

Bottom line, I rememeber things very well. Those who loved to pry at me for whatever reason, just don't ask me for help. I hate the fact I gotta ignore people when they talk to me, but it is what it is. My momma didn't raise no fool.

In other words: "Your a child and your argument is therefore invalid. I refuse to accept any opinion or counter-argument you may have because I know I'm right and you're wrong."

There is no dangling a carrot, by keeping a hold of my info. There is no reason someone being ridiculed should continue to support a site of constant ridicule.
