When this game comes out, what'll be the first character you'll place on the Portal? For me, it'll either be Crash or the Life Creation Crystal included in the Dark Starter Pack.

Spyro Series 1

King Pen, probably. i tend to put the main mascot of the game on first.

Always Series 2 Hex. GD is tempting, but Hex is still my favorite.

Probably going to be Chill or Golden Queen.
I've pretty much kept Chill as my main character since Giants. when it comes to the story part that it makes sense to bring in the imaginators she will finally be retired as the main character of my skylander games.

I usually start with the mascot character, so I'll place King Pen down first. Then golden waifu for Level 2.

Actually, I change my mind. I'm using my life crystal in the dark starter first so Shrek waifu can be made.

Undead creation crystal. I'm not getting the game 'till black friday sales start.

A water, life, or light CC.

Magic creation crystal

Ya know, making Shrek using the life crystal would be perfect, because then Sylvia can become the water villain and Wander will be the fire villain.

It all depends on who is available on the day it comes out

Well, from what we know of, Wave One right now looks to be King Pen, Golden Queen, Tri-Tip, Ambush, Ember, Wolfgang, Crash, and some creation crystals. (This isn't confirmed, I'm just looking at previous years)

I tend to use the Starter Pack character, BUT I went against that last year and used Smash Hit.

This Year, I kinda don't want to break it but at the same time I do, so I think I might go for Knight Light or Nightfall, to get the good new feel in them.

But later on, I'll switch to King Pen, then Golden Queen, and so on.


EDIT: Ok, heres my planned list.

Nightfall, Golden Queen, Fire Creation Crystal, King Pen, Ember, Tri-Tip, Ambush, Wolfgang, and Crash.

When I get to the Academy, I'll try out Knight Light, and make my Undead Imaginator, and my Life Imaginator. If the Dark Crystal is out in a single pack on day one, use that before Life.

Hard one. I mean people's first Skylander is usually their favorite or their OPed beast right? I done Knightmare first last year only because I wanted to see how they could possibly fit her into a vehicle. After I saw how, I immediately switched to Batspin but she really wasn't all that good, so I ended up with Echo for the rest of the day. I bought them both but I never used them in Trap Team because they came out just too late to be properly enjoyed in the game. It's better to play new characters in a new game, right? So that's typically my first Skylander, one that I really want to try out which I've been saving up for the new game, but I may end up switching them around to find one that I actually like playing with.

So....this year I've been saving Splat, PB Splat and Roller Brawl. I'll probably put Splat in first but who knows which one I'll actually be playing with for the entire day. With two Waifu on day one (prolly Ember and surely Golden Queen) it'll be five characters to pick from but I have no clue which will be the best to put down first. I'm going by the coolest looking one for now.

Probably Golden Queen first...I always try the new guys first each game ( though slight exception in Superchargers case, as I had to see how Stealth Elf played in her Supershot form )

That's exactly what I do. This year, I have Spitfire, Dark Blast Zone, Kick-Off Countdown, Double Dare Trigger Happy, Nightfall and Fiesta. Because I share the starter pack with my son, I will only get Golden Queen on day one, and 1 or 2 Creation Crystals.

I'm thinking Spitfire, just because their is a Fire Creation Crystal in the starter pack.

I generally like to use the main character in the game (not that I play the games, I just watch it). But I'm a little in doubt if I place Master King-Pen or the Fire Creation Crystal first.

As of now, either Crash or King Pen.
Most likely the former, just because... Well, I think it's pretty obvious.

But there might be a yet unrevealed Wave 1 character which will win my heart.
We'll see.

Will definitely use my Creation Crystal but I would like to wait for at least the first level, so I can gather some new parts.
I'm actually a bit scared of immediately jumping in the editor, since it's still rather unclear whether we can change Battle Class and character once we've settled with one.

I used to wheel thing to determine who I will be using first, because I can.

As for the rest of the lists, for the first Wave One, this is my order.

Ember, Undead CC, King Pen, Golden Queen, Ambush, Wolfgang, and Crash, then do CC's in the Academy with the returning characters.


Second Wave One.

Nightfall, Krankcase, Chopscotch, Fire CC, Ambush, Barbella, Tae Kwon Crow, King Pen, Golden Queen, Wolfgang, Crash and the same thing with the first wave one. Everything else in the Academy.


Third Wave One.
I'm only doing the first 10 because... thats a lot.

Barbella, Ambush, King Pen, Fire CC, Chopscotch, Golden Queen, Tae Kwon Crow, Ember, Wolfgang, and Krankcase, then the rest later on.


This was an interesting way to handle how I decided who to put on the portal first, because I kept going back and forth.

King Pen. I always start with the "leader" of whichever new group.
