Checked in my TRU in uk on their blog and they said nothing about a playable demo.
But I don't mind because I won't back in England for a year or so.

Playable demos at all locations? I haven't seen that since the launch of the franchise when I saw this at Best Buy. I guess they mean business. OK, so my location is doing midnight...now see if there's anything special price wise to justify me going.

And I won't be able to make it.... seriously, you'd think they could have it up for more than two hours....

I would go and check it out, but my city never had a demo since the Giants tour.

Mine had it for TT on the tablet. Curious to see what it will be this year, but I'm definitely going because I'm curious to see the poster.

2 hours + at least an hour or two for setup / break down for every TRU location...I'm sure this cost them a pretty penny. But yeah, they should've extended this for at least 4 hours.

I intend to go to Toys R' Us when they start so I can try out the game. If I won't be getting it until Black Friday, might as well have a taste before the long wait.

I probably have little to add to this not living anywhere near a TRU,but just a reminder that,if they allow it, we can probably use this to see some of the weirder cases of Skylanders driving - say, Wrecking Ball(tiny limbs), Knight Mare(wide and tall at the same time),etc etc.

I could try and being Skylanders such as Rocky Roll and Fright Rider to try out in Superchargers. Not sure what the rules are there though. They might not allow outside figurines.

I hope the don't do what they did at EGX last year and have the full game on-site, because *eeeeek* Spoilers!

If I was going to take Skylanders, I would bring the most questionable of Skylanders to drive (Rocky Roll, Fright Rider), as well as my precious Zook. I am interested to see how well he does in the game.

1. No confirmation about Canada, according to the TRU Canada site
2. If you read the small text at the bottom, it says "Event intended for children". So I'm not sure if I can do it or not, if it IS in Canada.

Trying to bring in the next wave of children since the Generation SSA kids have probably moved on. Still, I'd like to see them prevent someone from playing.

Intended probably doesn't mean much, probably just trying to say to parents that yes it's kid-friendly. They'll probably only call you out if you're getting in the way of the children,but if there are few people or they already played I don't think it'll be an issue.

The one to take ....would be the E3 Hot Streak..(would liked to have gotten one ...but never been to an E3)...to see if it really is that Golden Hot Streak in game we see in that video. Because the In-Game Variants thru the years have always looked like the toy....find it odd that the rear wheels in the video arn't red....and the grill is gold when the toys grill is black.

Not necessarily, LameLime. I went to the one for TT last year. Not only I got to play it, but got the poster as well. Unfortunately, it wasn't the console version but the tablet one. I'm thinking it's going to be the portable one as well. Hell, they've not even changed their Infinity demo from Marvel to Star Wars yet. Wanted to try it as well.

It may be a demo copy as well with limited levels....and I suspect limited content to try. My guess anyways. I have an E3 vehicle (no box) that I'll take just in case.

I'll bring a trap, to see how those work, then Tree Rex and Spyro to see if the issues with those characters have been fixed

I went to that one it was ok. I'll more then likely go to this and the midnight release. I took off my overnight to be able to head over there when i get off at 11pm.

Didn't he have something to do with clipping(through the ground or his own model)? Never played with him enough in TT to run into anything seriously major - mostly because he'd get himself killed first.

Tree Rex lost his shockwave slam
Spyro's horns no longer did more damage than the fireballs at their own path
Also Stump Smash's nuts didn't slow down the enemies (which was their purpose)

It isn't if it's button activated. 4 legs doesn't affect anything with seats this huge, having limbs long enough is; and from that trailer Spyro doesn't have any issue sitting like a person to lean his arms over the wheel.

Define children only.... I'm 15 and if they turn me away I will act like I'm not going to get the game (very mature lol) unless they let me play. (Which I of course will still be getting the game)

I'm betting that by 3 PM, they'll dump the spare posters somewhere for anyone to take. I've never had any trouble getting Gamestop Skylanders special event posters as I was the only one that has asked for them, EVER! TRU is probably different though so who knows?

TRU handed me two of the "Trap Holder Lanyard" that they gave out at an event earlier this year without even caring, so it's safe to say that it'll be fine.

At mine, I'm a regular and I've helped them out on Skylanders & Infinity questions that can't answer when a customer asks them.
That and I buy most of my stuff there because they have the stock. Target and Walmart seem not to care, BB is somewhat. GameStop's the only other store that keeps its stock, though my TRU didn't at the last waves of TT. They just let it it go with minimal deliveries.
