Seriously, skateboarding was the best feature in this game. I loved getting massive points by doing cool tricks. I wonder why they didn't add it in any other Spyro.... Still, I want to see it again.

i KNOW THE SKATE BOARDING WAS SO COOL! But I know I got higher than both the records (not Hunter's) but I don't remember! Oh well. It would be kinda cool to see that again, but how stories of Spyro are now, I don't see it very likely. It's just my opinion though.

Yeah, I got higher records, too. The trick is to do a triple Twisted Lemon. To do that, jump off a ledge and hold down either down and left, down and right, up and left, or up and right. You'll spin about three times before you hit the ground, and will get about 3000 points each time.

Also, in the seconds park, you can do "The Towers", which is simply buy jumping from Tower to Tower. Once you do it, you'll get 5000 points, I believe. After that though, it starts getting for less points, until it reachs about 100 each.

I've mastered the skate park in Enchanted Towers that I've managed to beat the record really easily.

I've got a suggestion, there's a website called http://www.spyrohints.com which tells you cheats and hints from the three playstation Spyro games and it tells you how to do each skateboarding trick.

Another easy way, is to do 2 or 3 Raging Ripto's, and then 2 or 3 Gnasty Gnorcs, and then use the huge ramp for other tricks which get you a lot of points.

I believe Raging Ripto is 1500 and Gnasty Gnorc is 2500. However, after you perform it once, the values drops, and same on. Still, they are pretty hard to do.

The skate boarding was so cool The parks look so awsome but i think the second skate park is so much better than the first! I LOVE the triple towers because they give u soooo many points and they are easy lol! ITs really hard trying 2 bgt all the lizards without crashing AND a time limit though! IT took me ages!!! did n e 1 else find that level hard!???

Skateboarding was the best...my brother even played this 4 the sk8boarding. I was horrible at it though. how do you do the orange crush, or wutever move that was? so difficult! i wish they could put it back on ps2 so i can sk8board w/ better graphics

Its really weird I seem to be quite good at the skate boarding! but i don't know how! I just desperatly pressed a whole lot of buttons and scored lots of points! lol o well it worked

no when u do the towers, the first time u do it, you get 1000 points, not 5000.

you should also do 2 or 3 Orange Crushes to earn big points

i'm really good at the skate boarding. me and my dad try to set our own records and beat them.

Actually, I was wondering, how do you do the Raging Ripto? I did it once(accidentily) and I got three thousand points. Can anyone tell me what to do?

Raging Ripto: Two front or back flips with three side rolls

Only perform Raging Ripto once, as the points become less worth the effort it takes to perform the stunt.

Use that once, as well as Twisted Lime and Twisted Lemon. They can be performed by using the back/front/side flips three times in a row. You should perform each one twice.

I love Skating too. It is one of the reasons why this is my favorite Spyro game.

Thanks snow_white658. Oh, how I wish another Spyro game would have skateboarding. Rachet and Clank had hoverboarding, but it wasn't very good. Jak 2 and Jak 3 had hoverboarding too but, even though you could use the board anywhere you go, it still wasn't as good as the skateboarding in YOTD.

Yus,skateboarding was easily one of my favourite mini-games in this game.This,and teh manta-ray thing.Or was that Gateway to Glimmer? I forget. =P

The manta-ray minigames are in GTG, YOTD and ETD.

Oh! I forgot about the manta-ray minigames. They were so much fun. But the ETD one was full of glitches!

The Manta Ray game from Ripto's Rage (Gateway to Glimmer) was fun, but too easy.

i think the sk8 bourding in this game is just as easy as sk8 bourding in real life!!! i'm a sk8 bourding champion!!!

well i'm not a celebrity champion obviously cos i'm only 10 but i bet a gang of teenages in a mini contest were the winner got bought chewing gum from the loser!!!(and i've still got some left and the contest was last Sunday!!!)(you'lle never have heard of this place but in UK were i live is a place called the Forge or my gang call it the Grafitti Ramps cos you can't see 1 bit of wooden ramp that has'nt been drew on!!!)

I havent' actually mastered the skateparks for points but I am decent at lost fleet's skate area. I think I'm not that great at the snowboarding game though. I can barely get under 2 minutes.

See Spyro Hints on Super Bonus Round for great ways to beat the Snowboarding Course. I've got another good way to win, and it's not really that ugly: As you start, jump up the first ramp and you'll get loads of height. A beginner at this would just stay there in the air doing nothing. Instead, get yourself four good Twisted Lemons or Limes and use the rest of your flight time to land it. You'll get a FULL BOOST BAR!!! Boost off like crazy. Just two more things left to do other than the good trick at the start: 1 - Whilst boosting, quit showing off your boosts and actually slip some tricks in. Watch out for a certain gap, though - it'll send you falling if you don't jump to the left. 2 - Smash through the crabs and yetis, get as many blue stars as possible, and try to stay on the ground - Spyro goes faster this way.
