Strong. Not only is 's pillar super powerful, but his shield blocks anything!

Fun. His berserk potion and potion combos are just awesome.

Weak. She just seems to bulky and reminds me of whirlwind-- in a bad way.

Fun. He's not particularly powerful but if you are good enough, Grim Creeper can deal some decent damage.

Strong. Camo is amazingly awesome in Swap Force with his wow-pow which destroys everything on the screen. All he attacks are great also.

I don't personally have him, but weak?

Fun. He's just kind of standard, to be honest. The closest thing he has to a standout attack is the Daybringer Flame, and blatantly, that's just because it feels cool to use it. Besides his fire, he has the fly move they gave to every SA character with wings besides Sunburn (and his Ground Pound, although that's really too clunky to use unless you're using the S2 version) and his charge attack.

Notice something about Spyro's moves? He has pretty standard attacks... Projectiles that shoot along the ground, a dash move and flying. Admittedly, Skylanders with that combo of moves aren't that common, but it's just not a good set of moves, at least on Spyro. He's got those standard moves, but there isn't anything too interesting to them. As a result, his gameplay really struggles to stand out much. Like I said, the Daybringer is cool to use, and Ibex Charge is as well to a lesser extent- but they don't have interesting mechanics, although they're nice and flashy. And those nice and flashy moves are easily the best thing about Spyro (at least aside from nostalgia, if that's your thing), in my opinion. I pick up my Spyro, once in a while, when I want to use his flashy Daybringer and Fireslam to defeat hordes of enemies surrounding me in Survival. Nostalgia factors in somewhat, too, but if his attacks weren't at least kind of fun and flashy then I wouldn't want to play him at all and I'd just resent him for being a bad reboot of a character from my childhood.

Spyro is most fun if you have an attachment to him, but the same can be said for any Skylander. However, Spyro is the only one (besides Cynder, although she actually has fairly interesting gameplay- Shadow Dash!) to be based on an older character, and the only one with their name in the title of a Skylander game. Anyway, if you liked Spyro before and you like this reboot of the character, well... That's probably as memorable as he's gonna get, and he really could be cool if you played the Spyro games before Skylanders was a thing. To be quite frank, if he wasn't based on a PS1 mascot I get the feeling most of us would just forget about this guy. He isn't very inventive, and there's nothing particularly interesting about him, outside of the nostalgia aspect. There's nothing he does really badly, but he doesn't do anything great, either. He hardly stands out on his own, and compared to the most inventive dragon Skylanders like Sunburn and Fire Kraken... I don't want to use this word because it's overused and has lost meaning but he's generic compared to them, as far as this series goes.

Also, I would avoid using the term "weak" as a way to say a Skylander is bad, and "strong" to say that they're good... Zoo Lou isn't that strong, but he does get a fair amount of love (and I honestly think he is a good character), and Stealth Elf in SA was strong but could be boring because of that, since you could basically spam melee and win... With that said...

Zoo lou is strong and fun to play as but his boar is really slow and does not do much damage

He's fun. He isn't as good as I thought and he isn't bad either. Since he can only have one trap active at a time.

Strong? Wish there could be a "decent" option.

He's good if you like strong up close skylanders

is strong and fun. His Skull Charge is so strong and was improved in Swap Force with all of his glitches being terminated. He better be back next game. Oh I was too late well Spy Rise is fun and strong too with his climb ability and his strong attacks.

Bad. His only interesting aspect is the Dune Ball, which doesn't keep him afloat, since you'll essentially just be keeping enemies in one spot to hit them with it. He underdamages horribly, and unlike other weak Skylanders may be Dune Bug is not fun despite being weak, as he becomes repetitive quickly. The most efficient way to use him, as it seems to me (to be fair, I've heard of played him since I don't like him) is to continually trap enemies in dune balls and shoot at them with your various projectiles. That's not fun, that's boring, because shooting enemies over and over after trapping them in one spot is boring. He's too weak to do anything else, really (his Sparking Wings do fairly good damage, but they leave him seriously vulnerable, so you don't really want to use him in Nightmare that way). Also, his staff projectiles are too difficult to aim for what's meant to be his standard attack.

Bad Riptide isn't as fun as he looks and his moves are very sluggish. He's one who really needs a wow pow overall.

Punk Shock is pretty fun and very good. I wish the primary attack did more damage but it has good rage and is fast anyway. I normally throw the water balloons and the electrocute enemies so they cannot move which is a good way to defeat them. Her third attack is okay but it take to long before you can use it again.

Fun to play as but still a bit slow

Slow? She is the fastest Skylander ever along with Bouncer, Magna Charge and Scratch (Sapphire).

Slam Bam is bad. He fists are too slow even if they do good damage and his glacier isn't too good either.

He's good. I can't be bothered to write anything detailed, but he's a nice meleeist with unique attributes, and he has a great design.

Sprocket is an aquired taste. I personally think she is good, my friends do not like her. Her defense is lacking, however if you know how to use her she can be fun to play as. I only have the S1 sprocket, but I enjoy her even though she is a challenge. Her wrench and combos are awesome.

Boomer is strong and very underrated. His bombs can cover great areas and does pretty good damage and very well balanced too.

Fun, powerful, and a great character. Bees!Honey!Bees!

Weak. I find his blade gears are inconsistent and his flying mode to be too clunky for my liking.

Prism Break is weak now. He's way too slow and his attacks seem very clunky in Swap Force. Also they nerfed his damage output.

Fun and strong. His bamboozooker packs a punch particularly when you combine it with cacti.

is super fun and easy to upgrade from all the fun you have with her!

Fun to play because who doesn't love dual wielding pistols

Really strong and in my opinion one of the best characters for the older games. Sadly, he's not as good in Swap Force.

Slobber Tooth

Fun. He is slow but I find it pretty awesome to swallow minions.

Really good. His top half has some really powerful attacks and his bottom half goes quite well with most other top halves.

Decent, his slime attack is kinda useless until you get the upgrade to electrocute it.

I think he is awesome, fun attacks and good damage. First he was my least favorite swapper, no one of my favorites.

Really good. The combo you can do on star gazer path is throw a star, reflect it, while the reflected star is going and coming back, shoot the stars into the air and jump and do the spin. It takes a bit of practice.

Scrattttttchhhhhhhhhhh! i love scratch! its so fun to play as her, but i wish she could fly

He's flipping amazing in Swap Force! His tongue is so strong that it does 55 damage per hit and it is fast. He forcefield ball is strong but it doesn't last very long anymore and his belches are very strong also. He is the best Skylander ever!

Decent, his harpoons are good and so is his hose but both of his wow pow have been about his anchor

Fun flamethrower and phoenix form but overall kind of weak

I love chill, she's my favorite water element. The ' throw things ' ( forgot the name lolol ) do increased damage in ssf. And the shield is very helpful. And come on a freaking narwhal!

He's a decent guy, but dem apes are pretty epic.
