It's definitely fake, very likely created by a troll. Don't believe everything on Wikipedia, anyone even trolls can edit on there and make false information.

In my opinion, Spyro isn't really good for a movie, anyway. His true value is in the video games, just like Calvin & Hobbes's true value lies within the comics.
