I don't watch the show anymore (I only saw season 1 then lost interest in the rest) but I enjoy the fandom's creativity. The music they create/remix, some of the fanart, the games, and the fanfictions are generally pretty great imo. That's the extent of my interest tho

Well specifically Friendship is Magic is the best one and most popular, because it actually pushed out whatever was terrible in the past MLP shows, and have more logic and way less ugly looking characters. Plus some of the stories is actually really good and well written.

It's a TV show, treat it as such.

There are many good reasons to both like it and dislike it. It all depends on your personal prefrences.
