i need help from people who use windows movie maker [CLOSED]

sometimes, when I add clips, the audio plays but there is just a blank green coloured screen. this is the only forum I'm on and I wondered does anybody know why it happens and how can I stop it?

What format is the clip in? Because WMM usually only accepts .wmv clips, I think.
It's been a long time since I've used it so I could be wrong, but if the clip is in a format other than .wmv maybe try converting it?

yeah, it's rather strange. one minute, the clip is working fine and then the next time I play it, it's gone green!

i think it takes more file types but sometimes it's just fidgety so try converting it or something

I use to have similar kinds of problems. This, along with how basic the software was, made me started using Sony Vegas Pro.

Once you use Vegas, you never go back to WMM.

Yeah, all the good programs never are cheap... unless you get them for free *cough* I had to buy a cheaper version of Vegas, but it's not as good as the newer versions that cost like $600 ._.
