Skylanders ended and Spyro didn't come back.

If Skylanders ended I'd be a little confused as it was making Activision ridiculous amounts of money, though that's if it ended now I mean, in a few years I do expect to come to and end. There's only so much you can do with the franchise.

If Spyro didn't come back I'd probably be a little upset in all honesty as I think the guy still has alot of potential and he was a gigantic part of my childhood so yeah, though I do expect him to die off one day as sad as the thought may be, so yeah, I'd be kinda bummed but I'd understand.

I'd be the same as I am now, which is pretty much neutral, but it's been six years anyway so what does it matter now.

I would be a bit sad to hear that they gave up on Spyro. :c
When I say Spyro, I mean TLOS and the Classic one. I don't see the Skylander Spyro as Spyro. Since it wasn't their intention to make it a Spyro game.

To be honest it wouldn't matter much. Spyro hasn't been Spyro to me since the original trilogy, and while I've enjoyed the other games I can't say it would effect me much if he finally reached the end of his video game mascot career uvu

Alright, here's the problem, Skylanders is an amazingly fun game and I love it, HOWEVER, that being said, It is by no means at all a Spyro game, Spyro is just in the game, he is one of many playable characters, but it is not about Spyro and has nothing to do with him, which is why I hate that they are using Spyro to rake in cash, it's one of the main reasons people bought the game.

So while Skylanders is a great game, it is not a Spyro game and I doubt they will bring Spyro back in full capacity, even though they know people would buy it, they changed him so much and it would be hard to go back.

I wouldn't. I lost interest in the franchise when Skylanders was revealed to feature Spyro. Having around a hundred (If you can afford it.) constantly/immediately interchanging characters kills any investment in storylines for said specific character. I hope you see what I'm trying to say here.

It effectively ceased being- no. It never was a Spyro game. He was just slapped in there to get more buyers.

I completely agree, I'm more of a classic trilogy guy myself, but the reality of the situation is that it is a money trap, they know they can get money if they keep dishing out toys, they know people will buy their product, and that's what most things come down to in the end, the money.
