Do we dare hope that the days of weekly updates have returned?

I love the Easter Coloured Puffy tree behind Willy at the Wishin' Well. Would like to buy one of those to have on my island, but I can't see how.

This is a really weak update. 2 Skylanders already in the game and an Easter makeover is hardly anything. No new companion, no new Alter Ego house (Snowler Brawl's house is STILL in the store) no new timed quests, no new purchasable anything, still no new islands, no new Alter Egos, still nothing to spend gold, gems or kudos on, nothing new in the well...

What's caused this massive hauls in progress? If this is the extent of weekly updates returning, they might as well save themselves the trouble and do monthly updates instead.

For the newer users like me, it also said that ERmit and Diggs are leaving after March 24th. Maybe the people who already have these characters didn't get the message to pop up.

I spent real money on diggs but I can't justify buying Ermit with real money as ther is no way I can get that many gems in a week.

I'm saving GEMS to buy the Diggs, but I don't think I can make it before 3/24.
