Anyone a fan of Castlevania? The classic or the Lords of Shadow. I've been playing the Lords of Shadow series recently and I'm on the second one that came out recently. Really like that series even if it is a reboot of the franchise. My favorite Castlevania is Super Castlevania IV though. Anyone else?

Lords of Shadows? No. Not a fan. I preferred the RPG style side-scrolling, action platformer games.

Just recently I bought Symphony of the Night for the XBox Live Arcade. It's a game I already knew and loved, but wanted to relive it. Honestly, I hope one day they remake it and make it more challenging.

Someday I'll beat super castlevania 4. Someday....

If you're a huge Castlevania fan like I am, I recommend Dracula X Chronicles. It has one of the best platformer Rondo of Blood, as well as the game that started the metroidvania craze Symphony of the Night. One day though I have to track down Order of Ecclesia to complete the DS trilogy.

I'm a huge Castlevania and "Metroidvania" fan, but I really hate LoS series.

Why do you hate the LoS series? I mean, I guess the first game didn't feel totally like Castlevania but mirror of fate and the second one did. I hated Simon's Quest to be honest... But I really liked the original, 3, 4, and Dracula X.

Well... I didn't like the first LoS, so boring and awful...

Mirror of Fate was... emm... "not so good", the 2D view was okay but the controls and the gameplay it wasn't good...

And LoS 2, I just played the demo and I just watch some videos on YouTube, but HELL NO!!! EVERY Single thing of that demo and the game was horrible, where should I start?

First: on the demo when you are fighting that Golden Knight outside Gabriel's/Dracula's castle (WTH? Dracula? DX ) The knight says: "Die Monster, You don't belong in this world" I was shocked, I mean, how dare him to say Richter Belmont's most famous line just like that and then Gabriel says: "What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets." WHAT THE ****!!?? Am I playing SotN prologue or what? If I'm going to see or watch more of these lines in LoS 2, I'm NOT GOING to play this, my poor miserable memories ._.

Second: I'm not a big Hack'n slash fan but I respect it, however, this game is so repetitive, I mean, you get hurt and use your sword to steal HP from your enemies, then change it back to another one, use the other weapon to crush enemies defense and so on... If I want to play a Hack's Slash game, I'll play Devil May Cry but NOT THIS!!


And one more thing, I HATE The WHOLE story of LoS series, at the very first time I saw LoS I was interested to see in which time is going to take place on the Belmonts History, but no!! It was all different, a "reboot" (I respect reboots but...). They decide to put Gabriel Belmont as the very first Belmont (wait, what happend to my hot and awesome Leon Belmont who sacrifice Sara to create the Vampire Killer DX?) And then they put Simon Belmont and Alucard at the same time or very close to their lives!? Oh boy...

I know this is going to end soon , I just want to see a brand new Castlevania or Metroidvania game. And yes, I think I know why you hate Simon's Quest, at the very first time I used to not play this game so much, but then I start to loving it. Super Castlevania 4 is one of my favorite games too and the very underrated Castlevania Lament of Innocense >.<

I haven't played one yet. *hangs head*

I got Circle of the Moon on my Wii U. It's awesome.

I miss the old ones .___.

Harmony of Dissonense is now on Wii U. I'll get it when I finish Circle of the Moon.

I love Castlevania. Played virtually every game in the franchise. I know everyone wants IGA to be back but I'd rather the series go back to its b-movie inspired roots rather then gothic anime.
