I received a Gold Fire Kraken and Toy Fair Dune Bug!!! [CLOSED]

This is a pretty cool story so I though I would share. About a year ago I was talking on the phone to a tax client of mine that I discovered worked for Activision. I mentioned to him that my sons play a game called Skylanders that Activision was the makers of. He said, what a coincidence, that's the game I work on. I told him how much my boys love the game and he said to e-mail him my address and maybe he would send something. After not hearing from him for a year,are he e-mailed me and let me know that my e-mail had been lost in his junk/spam folder and he had just found it. He told me to look for something in the mail the next day from his "special" archive, and shortly afterwards I got an e-mail from fedex that something had been overnighted to my office. I came into work on Friday, and a couple hours later was brought a package. Upon opening it I was shocked to see that he had sent us a Gold Fire Kraken and a Toy Fair Metallic Dune Bug. I have to say, my boys were extremely surprised and grateful to that Activision employee. Just proves that there really are some good people left in this world. The characters are now displayed proudly on my oldest son's desk. smilie

It really is nice to see this sort of story. Too much bad news in the world, this is what I want to read about. I can't imagine how my kids would react if this happened to us!

That's nice, I'm jealous... I wrote a very convincing letter about the fact I wanted Gold Fire Kraken to Activision in December, I never got any news lol smilie

Wow! Even if I'm not a fan of variants, I must admit that Fire Kraken looks great! He almost looks like an ancient chinese statue of some sort! smilie
