Pokemon Soul Silver version was going to be available in stores tomorrow and luckily I have pre-ordered it. I was so excited I couldn't sit still, but I knew that jumping around wasn't going to make the day go by any faster, so I decided to play Pokemon Platinum for awhile. I know that I have already beat Pokemon Platinum, but I wanted to train my Pokemon a little more so I can transfer them to Soul Silver. I played it for four hours or so. I figured I have played enough Pokemon Platinum, so I turned off my DS and decided to go to bed. It was pretty early to go to sleep, but playing Pokemon for so long has made me pretty darn tired. I went up to my room and quickly fell asleep.
My alarm went off, so I knew it was 8:30 in the morning. I turned off my alarm, then I slowly got out of bed and brushed my teeth, changed my clothes and put my hair in a ponytail. I then rushed downstairs and looked at the clock, which said that it was 8:55, then, the doorbell rang. "Who in the world rings someones doorbell this hour of the morning?" I asked myself as I went to the door. I grabbed the doorknob and opened the door. No one was there. I looked around and shouted "Is anyone here?!". There was no response. I then looked down and in front of me was a small package. I became curious as I looked at the package, so I picked it up and brought it inside. Before opening the package, I examined it and noticed that there was no return address. I was quite suspicious about the package because of that, so I carefully opened it and was quite surprised by what was inside. Pokemon Soul Silver version was right inside of the small package. I took it out of the package and noticed that the game case was not sealed like most games are, which was quite odd because when a game is new, it is always sealed. I figured they must have forgot to seal it. It didn't bother me much though.....I mean c'mon, it's Pokemon Soul Silver.
I happily jumped around with Pokemon Soul Silver in my hands, then I rushed to my room and got my DS. I then went back downstairs and walked to the living room. I opened the game case and took out the Pokemon Soul Silver game cartridge. I looked at the game cartridge and noticed that it didn't look quite right. The "Soul" in Pokemon Soul Silver was scratched out. I figured that was a mistake they made when they placed the game sticker on the cartridge. I shrugged it off and turned on my DS with Pokemon Soul Silver inserted into it. I then began to play. I watched a little bit of the intro that was placed, it was pretty cool, but I was more interested in going through the story, so I skipped the rest of the intro. I pressed the A button to get to the main menu, then, I noticed something that was rather confusing. There was an already saved file. The character's name was Soul and had every Gym badge and all Pokemon Discovered. I was really confused because the game was only available today and yet someone already has the game beat. This was not right at all. I wanted to get to the bottom of this, so I did the only thing I could do that would get me some information.
I clicked on the saved file.
I noticed that the characters location was inside the Ruins of Alph. I know this because I read about it on the internet a few days ago before the game was even out. The place was full of mysteries that had to be solved. I looked the character Soul's Pokemon. The Pokemon that he had were Meganium, Suicune, Lugia, Houndoom, Noctowl and a Mismagius. They were all level 100. Soul had a pretty tough team, but I put that aside for now. I exited the Ruins and tried to go somewhere else, but the game wouldn't let me. The game then said was "No where to go". That sent a chill down my spine, but I turned around and went back into the Ruins. Maybe if I do something in the Ruins, I will be able to leave. I walked through the Ruins and soon saw a man in front of me. The man only said this. "You can't escape fate". That's when thing's started to really frighten me, but something was telling to go further, so I did. I went further into the Ruins and soon saw a women. The game prevented me from moving Soul and the women walked close to me and said. "Don't go any further.....". I obviously didn't listen and walked even further, then, things started to get really freaky. The game made odd noises that kinda made it sound like it was saying "Pokemon". I went to Soul's pokemon to check their status. I was shocked to see Soul's pokemon now. They all had their limbs torn from their bodies and they had black, bleeding eyes. I quickly closed the pokemon status and had second thoughts about continuing.
I thought hard for a moment, then decided to continue. I walked through Ruins and then the game froze, then a text came up that said "Are you sure you want to continue"? It then simply gave me two options, Yes or No. I chose "Yes". Then something else that was quite frightening happened, the game glitched up and went to screen that said "You cannot continue, nor can you turn back....you shall remain here forever....no matter what you do....you cannot escape your fate...". Then it showed a picture of Soul. His eyes were gone, blood leaking from the sockets. The last thing that appeared was a text that said "Please....go...before it gets you too...". That was when I had enough. I turned off my DS and took the Pokemon Soul Silver cartridge out of it, then I threw the game cartridge to the floor and left it there. "Stupid game...." I said as I turned on the television to watch some cartoons. A few questions flowed through my mind though. What was point of that? Why did it happen? What is the "it" that Soul mentioned? That was the question that bothered me the most. I shrugged it off and watched some cartoons.
Six months have past. I was looking through all of my games and came across something, Pokemon Soul Silver. I remembered what had happened the first time I played it, but I decided to play it again anyway.I inserted Pokemon Soul Silver into my DS and went into Soul's saved file.
