So, recently my brother has been playing a lot of pokemon x and he has been trying to finish the pokedex and he needs to use the friend safari to finish it? ( I never actually played the game) but anyways, he needs some friends to help him with it so can anyone tell me their friends code so he can do it or correct me if I'm wrong about the friend safari.

He doesn't need the friend safari. Sure, it'll help as it includes some Pokemon not normally found in the Kalos region, though these Pokemon can be obtained throguh the GTS or transfer making friend safaris not neccessary.

well, i found more then half of all the pokemon and i caught like 350+ (maybe like 6 because of friend safari)
and i don't even use poke creator. my friend does though, but he dosen't give a garbage about me.
here's a dialogue (exaggeration) of him and me.
*him*FREE POKEMON!!!
*me*can i have a shiny arceus!
*him*NO! unless, if you have something good to trade like a rayquaza
*me*???WHAAAAA.... DAAAAAA.... FFFFFFUUUUUUU!!!!!
but, another friend is so generous
sure, i gave him my shiny palkia from sum2013 but, he gave me a cressila or whatever it's called. (but, it's from poke creator) pfft, even the deoxys from the black and white 2 event, without a life orb though, but it's real, dusk ball, lvl 100, unova region, and O.T. plasma, and he said it was free, i gave him a half hatched porygon egg XD
i'm doing fine without it, we even had a bet who can fill the pokedex faster! (shinies didn't count) *i automatically won because im not using poke creator, he keeps on screaming that it's not fair XD. but arceus, you can only get from cheating sooooooo, he will be tough for me to get.*
just, pokemon y doesn't get manymega stones, but, i got it because, i was planning on getting it, the uberly awesome looking charizard (X looked ugly) and the awesome looking, and uberly strong mewtwo Y!!
boy, why am i typing soooo much in one simple question???? XD

i catch 1 rare pokemon in wonder trade or friend safari (only one) and GTS can help me. *no, i don't trade a snorunt for something like a.... DIALGA, i hate those people*
but maybe a starter. i breed it, then i do it again, and again, and again. :) sorry for wasting your time bro!!! XD

X and Y have the same number of Mega Stones

Even if you use the Friend Safari, he won't be able to complete the PokeDex - as there's a couple hundred that you NEED to either transfer from previous games, or trade with someone who has those Pokemon...

Are we talking about the Kalos PokeDex, or the National PokeDex here, though? Kalos PokeDex is completable fine without the Friend Safari (you just need people to trade with for the version exclusives/other starters). National, on the other hand, requires the transfer/trading I mentioned above (I refer to this page - http://www.serebii.net/xy/unobtainable.shtml - which lists ALL Pokemon not available to catch within X or Y at all)
