This is an idea I have for a new game, a game that'll finally give Shadow Legacy the resolution it deserves and then some. What's more is that this game will combine the original Spyro's story with the story from the TLoS series. Before I get into it, I want to recap Shadow Legacy.
SYNOPSIS OF SHADOW LEGACY
It is the last day of a summer vacation at Dragon Shores. Spyro says goodbye to all of his friends before they all leave to their home worlds. Once they do, Spyro tries to get the most out of the last day. He needs to start learning dragon kata the next day, and he knows it can be a hassle to learn all of these new moves.
Suddenly, purple lightning starts to zap the beach. Everyone panics and starts running off to find shelter, as the sky dims and strange, unknown creatures emerge. Spyro finds that his charge and his flame attacks are useless against these creatures. He is unsure what to do.
A strange voice then talks to Spyro, seemingly coming out of nowhere. It was Tomas. He told Spyro that he must run away, and his attacks will be ineffective by all means. Spyro runs into a strange void, in which it teleports him to Tomas's home, now a pile of toppled plank.
[basically, from here on, the story is self-explanatory. Tomas told Spyro that the realm he was in was the Shadow Realm, a dark dimension of the same world that drains magic from those who have it. Spyro is the least affected, since he's a purple dragon. Spyro is given a Shadowstone, which allows him to go through the main world and the Shadow Realm. He is left to find the other dragon elders and this "Sensei," who teach him combat moves and magic spells. Spyro then needs to free everyone else in the Shadow Realm, and once he does, he needs to do these "chores" for them in order to get relics and progress on.]
The elders thought it might be Red who caused the Shadow Realm to befall on the world. However, when Spyro confronts Red and defeats him with one magic spell, it turns out that there was a bigger enemy, and that Red was brainwashed. This enemy: the Sorcerer.
Spyro met him before, but didn't know who he was. He just looked like a strange, harmless being, since he gave Spyro missing belongings. Once Spyro learned who he really is, he set out for the Sorcerer's home to face him off. It turns out the Sorcerer has a hidden power: he can change his own size. He's also a purple dragon, but Spyro didn't care to notice; he just defeated the Sorcerer very easily, but didn't kill him. The Sorcerer just loses enough power to become very weak and flees.
Everyone is now waiting for the Sorcerer's next attack. They've been unprepared, but they are now ready.
The Legend of Spyro has stories that are easier to understand and more elaborate, so you can look them up on Wikipedia, but I noticed this story actually takes place in a medieval time period. Unlike the original Spyro's world, in which there were robot cities and enemies with machine guns, this story doesn't have any of that. Even if the franchise shows stuff from the early 20th century, it's too random to fit in the environments.
And both of the stories have purple dragons as the heroes and the villains. In my opinion, the Sorcerer drained as much magic as he can so he can free Malefor. When he does, they can combine their powers and make the world Malefor wanted.
THE STORY I WANT TO MAKE
This story will be 5 years after Spyro put a beat down on the Sorcerer. Spyro is still learning dragon kata, but Flame is now an assistant to the "Sensei," and Ember wearing tattoos around her eyes, in which it extends to the sides of her body. Her wings are also now fully developed and her neural spine spikes out of her body like knives (her tip of the head part of the spine also extends 2 inches in front of her); adopted a life of a pop star, using dragon magic to enhance her concert performances. Hunter is also there, with Bianca.
They're all by the most populous area of the dragon city. Spyro is discussing a weird dream he had; Hunter was in the dream, periodically shift shaping into other creatures as they're walking through a cave. Hunter wanted to show him something. The cave leads to a large, orange crystal, in which it seems to have someone entrapped in there.
"Weird, isn't it? I was trying to practice my bow skills when I saw this guy in this crystal," Hunter says. "For some reason, it looks like another purple dragon."
"Another purple dragon?" Spyro returns. He gets closer to the crystal, eventually getting close enough so his snout is an inch from touching it. Looking down to the Shadowstone he's wearing, he's curious what would happen if he DID touch it, so he puts his paw on it. Slowly, the whole earth starts to rumble, intensifying with every second passing.
"Whoa, what's happening?!??" Spyro says, trying to stabilize himself on the shaking ground.
The trapped dragon is starting to glow. His ambience starts from a purple speculation, all the way to an eye-burning white. Then, very unexpectedly, Spyro and Hunter are repelled by a sudden explosion.
"I swear, Hunter was changing into all kinds of different things. First, he turned into a sheep, then into a penguin, and then he turned into a DONKEY. I was wondering, 'What the [bleep] is going on?' but then I decided it wasn't even worth it. He kept changing and changing until he led me to this one place with a big-[bleep] orange crystal."
"What was in it?" Ember asked.
"It was another purple purple dragon."
Everyone is silent, awestruck.
"No, really, the dragon was this big," Spyro extends his front legs to show the size of the dragon, "probably a little bigger than me, and his skin....it's [bleep] just like mine, but WAY more deep in the purple than my skin."
"Wait, what else did I turn into?" Hunter asks curiously.
"Oh, you're not gonna believe it, you turned into Gnasty GNORC at one point."
"Oh, you're kidding, really?"
"Really, man. Anyway, I was getting up close to that thing, thinking, 'He's trapped, I gotta free him,' but it turned out to be a very stupid decision. The whole world felt like it was about blow up, and then I started looking around, wondering what was going on, and Hunter was starting to look around, too, and by the time I realized we needed to get out of there, we were pushed by an explosion so hard that I thought we were going to die right there."
Bianca butted in, "But how could you? It was a dream."
"I know, and it was one of the weirdest ones I had in my life."
So then a few hours later, when they mind their own business, a sudden unnatural meteor shower occurs. They realize it's the Sorcerer's next attack, since more intense Shadow Lurkers are now showing up from the meteors. The dragons and many others in the city try to defend themselves, but they can't, as these new enemies know the tactics they would use. Srgt Byrd comes in to evacuate as many dragons as he can, in a huge airship. Spyro, Hunter, Bianca, Ember, Flame, Blink, the dragon elders, and many others to into that one ship. The Sensei refused to go, and stayed behind. He was instantly unsuccessful in trying to fend for himself. But, anyway, guess who Spyro meets inside the airship? ELORA. She's partnered with Srgt. Byrd ever since Spyro's first adventure in the Forgotten Worlds.
Before Spyro was safe inside, however, a Shadow Lurker almost hitched a ride on the ship. Spyro, Hunter, and the Professor are the last ones to go on the ship, nearly missing their ride. The shadow Lurker tries to grab both Hunter and the Professor, but his hands slip off the ship once he grabs them both. All three start falling, and Spyro goes after them. They are racing to the void now reforming the Shadow Realm for the Dragon Realms. Spyro can barely keep up with them. Unfortunately, they fall so far apart from one another that the Professor tells Spyro he should just save Hunter. Spyro regretted to make that decision, since he wouldn't be able to save him. Just when Spyro touched Hunter, he teleported them to the airship. They enter it in the Shadow Realm since they touched the edge of the void.

Spyro couldn't use his ShadowStone to get them out of there, because, since he touched the void, Spyro lost all of his magic powers. Blink eventually a dimension portal for the both of them to go through, using a machine that manipulates magic from Dark Gems and Light Gems. Blink tells them Elora helped, but once Spyro tells Tomas that he lost his powers, including the ability to use any dragon breaths, since everyone else was in the same room, everyone gasped.
So, they're on their way to this very secret base in a far away land, where everyone in there will get secure training before they return to the Dragon Realms. Everyone rants when they hear this from Srgt. Byrd, but Spyro realizes it must be done if they are to stand a chance against these new Shadow Lurkers. When they reach the island they are going to train in (they don't know it's another kingdom called the Forbidden Realms, cursed fragments of the Dragon Realms, Avalar, and the Forgotten Worlds), their ship is hit. Everyone is forced to evacuate. Many dragons were also needed to carry those who couldn't fly, since there is a very small amount of parachutes. Everyone managed to get out but one hatchling named Derek, whose wing is caught under a heavy wooden crate. Spyro, Red, Hunter and Sparx are the ones to notice this before they get out, and Spyro tells Red to take Hunter and for Sparx to go with Red. Because of his history, Hunter and Sparx refuse, but Red forcibly grabs Hunter and magically retrieves Sparx into his hands using a magic spell, and then they leave. Spyro is left to try to lift this crate without any magic, but he can't do it in time. Spyro then looks out of the ship and sees that they are about to land in a lake. "TAKE A DEEP BREATH!!!" he says. When Spyro and Derek land in the water, he's surprised the ship hadn't exploded.........until 10 seconds later. Spyro uses his wings to prevent any flames from touching him or Derek, and they actually help weaken the wooden structure of the crate so Spyro can lift the crate more easily. Once he does, an after explosion happens, and a piece of the ship's body knocks Spyro out. The follow-up scene is right here: http://locoda107.deviantart.co...2F46040825&qo=5 And there's also another scene following that one. The link for that is in the scene's description. MAIN HUD WORLD This will be a city called Klontrill. It combines many platforming methods and cultures of the original Spyro trilogy (think of Jak 2 crossed with NYC). This city, however, will have 20 stories, allowing Spyro to fly whenever he feels like it. |

This city is also more prominent in the Shadow Realm as a rebel city; dragons in the regular realm are enslaved for labor, and any dragon who disobeys a law can be subject to on-spot execution. The Shadow Realm gives dragons a second chance, even though Shadow Lurkers can raid the city in this realm, too. Every dragon who lives there is already well trained for any danger, as they fear that the government of the normal world can try linking to their realm.
And the objective of this series is to get four crystal crescents, four crystal eggs, and four crystal stars before the Sorcerer figures out a way to free Malefor and use Cynder and the TLoS Spyro's actual trapped bodies for destruction; he can easily make them evil. Yes, Cynder will be in this series, but she will be a spirit once she introduces herself. Also, Cynder will eventually be resurrected, by Blink, because of an artificial body he'll make. |

Hmm, nice work, but this belongs more in the Fandom section.
EDIT; Please do not make multiple topics in different sections.
