I'll post what the dream was, and try to make it seem less gory than it actually was.

So it all started with me playing pokemon heart gold, the Ds kinda went weird and went to this scene I've never seen before in the game. It happened to be Silver ((Yes, rival Silver)) traveling to the next region, possibly to challenge the gym leaders.
The transportation was much like the S.S Anne in the Kanto region, a big boat. The boat suddenly stopped, and I was now in control of the character, After pressing the D-Pad in a left direction, I had instantly been somewhere else than where I was before.
Also I wasn't myself
I was now Silver.
Seeing as it had just been the part in the game where I had stopped before getting warped here, I continued on my way. Soon arriving at the room where the captain was, was one of the biggest mistakes I had ever made. He was a gory mess, someone had brutally murdered him. I felt sick from the sight, and something like a somewhat remix of the lavender town tone started to play, I tried to block my ears, the sound was horrible. Running out of that room, and seeing what was outside in the main room made me feel even more worse. More people had been brutally killed much like that captain, I was completely terrified. Trying to find a escape, I was knocked down by some unknown force from behind. I couldn't see who or what it was, but all I know is that a blade was brought to my neck, the blood started to seep out of the cut as the knife went deeper. My vision soon went blurry and and I blacked out
That's when I woke up.

Also, is it normal to have a sharp pain in my neck after waking up after this....?

Well! Someone's been combining too much Pokemon and Creepypasta...
And I don't think a sharp pain is bad. I've had that type of thing happen before. e.e
I also had a dream. Also about murder. Warning: probably doesn't make sense. My dreams tend to do that...

Ok, so in the dream I wound up with two people in this group. Once a year, they'd travel out and try to kill the president. I was just a poor person with no home, so I was happy when they took me in. On the young side too, so I didn't doubt why they tried to do this. Their reasoning had to do with a lot of undercover proof that the presidents were terrorists or something. e.e One thing though: they'd never succeeded.
So we headed off to a mountain which the president was visiting. My group ran up to him, then I yanked him off the mountain. We then proceeded to run away.

It's weird, I know. O.o I think yours was a lot worse, however...

Sure. Dreams about rape and stuff must be terrible... ;~;

Well, my brother has one of these dramas every year, well, more like nightmares.

So, every year, right before his birthday, he has a nightmare about this demon-like character. In these dreams, based on what he's doing for his birthday, this demon tries to kill him, using the theme of his party. It's happened every year since he was four.

Lucky me, I've never had a gory dream in my life. ^.^

I rarely see any "scary" nightmares, but when I do I just usually change the tone of those dreams with my own attitude. I'll give you an example.

About a week ago I saw a nightmare where I found myself inside an old, ruined mansion. The gate was locked, the garden was overgrown and the feeling of not being safe anywhere loomed over me the whole time. There was also this dark, hooded figure that followed me the whole time, really slowly. I could walk away from him but he always seemed to know where I was and would never stop following me. If I couldn't see him anywhere he would suddenly appear behind me. Classic horror game stuff.
So you know what I did? I went and gave gim a bro-hug. Then we went in the basement where I found a homy-gym and we started lifting together. Turned out to be a lot of fun.

Ah... I like that.

You seem good at plottwists, but honestly, it's not YOU who does so

It's your brain saying that you'll do that in a dream, but it als otells you that this CAN'T happen in real life, because we all know we'll run away like babies wen that happends.....

Can somebody confirm why there always is a hooded Black figure in my dreams? And does it have a reason or meaning why he always has a staff?

It has been proven you have hundreds of dreams each night but your mind wouldn't be able to remember them all so only remembers few or none.

If that's so I wonder why the same Random thing happens over and over again.....

I agree 100%. The recurring nightmare I have is really bloody and gory. Every time I have this nightmare, Nightmare gets meaner and meaner, omg I am so freaking glad he's NOT real.

I agree 100%. The recurring nightmare I have is really bloody and gory. Every time I have this nightmare, Nightmare gets meaner and meaner, omg I am so freaking glad he's NOT real.

Last gory nightmare i had did continue, and im a bit worried that it may be the same for this one. (It was a gravity falls one before.)
Strangely though, both of them had me attacked from behind.

My dreams have gore, but the generally involve me inflicting the murder and whatever. I remember just last night having a dream where I was having a party with Rakdos (a giant demon cult leader) the music was loud, the carnage gladiators and hellhole flailers were doing their things, when suddenly a bunch of Azorius guys (cops pretty much) and Boros soldiers(military) busted down the door and ordered for our arrest.

The music stopped, everyone looked up, and laughed. Rakdos' voice boomed some unknown words, I blinked, and then they were all dead. Random body parts left strewn everywhere, being eaten by zombies and imps and even other people. I paid it no mind, I'm used to that sort of thing. But then I saw a dark shadow race by me. I looked over, just in time to see the 20-foot tall demon's head explode. Blood rained everywhere, the body fell, and the ground shook. I noticed what appeared to be a Dimiir agent running off. I pulled something out of the Aether (yeah I can do that) and hurled it at him. The object, apparently a knife, fell out of his back with a tiny dribble of blood on it. Too late I realized that this wasn't an ordinary knife.

An immense wave of darkness covered the area for a second. What was left, was the horrid demon Withengar. The agent was dead before he could speak. His breath a cloud of blood, he stood to his full height, a massive 30 feet tall. He turned to face me, his eyes led into his evil, twisted, mind. Showing about thirty different ways to kill me. I slowly took a step back. "But, I freed you..." I stammered.

"YOU THINK I OWE ANY MORTAL? ONE OF YOUR POWER WILL FEED ME GREATLY!!!!"

His hand hit me and sent me flying into a stone pillar. I felt my spine snap, I couldn't move, only watch as he came closer.

"YOU ARE NOT MY FIRST VICTIM, OR MY LAST."

Using only two fingers, he picked me up by the throat, and swallowed me. The darkness was all consuming, and I smelled a burning stench. My legs were being corroded by the beast's stomach acid, as my legs dissolved, I slowly started sliding into the pit. I only started to feel the pain when it got to my torso, as it got there I felt my intestines slowly start falling out...


That's how it ended.

Dang. That sounds terrible. My worst nightmare probably involved the world ending and it was just me and Death (Grim Reeper) fighting it out to the death (ba dum tiss)

The sweetest dreams are the ones we chase when we're awake.

They're even sweeter when they finally become reality.
