So, uh, it's been 2 years now. 1/5th of a decade. Time seems to escape me and it doesn't feel that long ago when we first started while at the same time feeling like an eternity. This morning I looked back on the first few PMs, or at least the ones I bookmarked (so many spelling mistakes...) and it almost seems silly how we were. It feels like we've grown up.
Last year I recall reflecting on things that had happened over the past year. And while I sorta want to talk about 2013, I also feel like I'm going to be making a mistake with it.

You know that 2013 was a catastrophic year. So many things went wrong for the both of us and for me particularly I felt like dead weight attached to you. People came and went, I bounced about forums and schools, you moved away from your friends, and we both didn't exactly have a fun time with it all. The fact that you stuck with me throughout the whole year when many other people seemingly gave up or never bothered to begin with (you're one of only three people to stay around all year) just blows my mind. I feel like you've had many points throughout where you could've just walked away and you didn't and it's nothing short of a miracle. And even when you had problems you kept your chin up and remembered that somebody out there cares about you even if they're about 3400 miles away.

2 years for a lot of people is a relatively short time and is nothing really worth celebrating. But for a relationship on the internet, let alone one that some people didn't even see possible, I'd call it a massive success (and I tip my figurative hat to everyone else on this site who has been in a relationship just as long if not longer; you know who you are). We proved a few people wrong with this, including your parents. We've outlasted quite a few other relationships that were looking to be very serious. I know we haven't been able to meet yet but...

But goddammit we even beat Lyra and Bon Bon. They met several times, they spent a load of time together, it's been heavily implied of the actions they did (if you know what I mean), and they were so corny and showed off so much it made other people sick (our relationship was pretty much invisible on EqF, especially compared to them). For ****'s sake they were engaged after just 8 months of being together, and yet they imploded in seemingly spectacular fashion, leaving one bitter and the other miserable. We haven't been able to see each other in person but when we're able to be more steady than what was seemingly an indestructible couple, I can't help but think we're doing something very right.

At this point it's very difficult to think of a world without you, if not near impossible. You made me loads more optimistic about the concept of affection as well as an overall outlook on life (I know this past year didn't seem it but bear with me). And when I want to be isolated and alone, you're probably the only person I'd always want near me. I feel lucky to have spoken to you in an actual conversation that wasn't an argument like in 2011. I feel grateful that you're around when other people might not be (and I know it hasn't seemed that way; and I'm sorry). And I'm proud to have even known you, let alone be this close to you. You've been so tolerable of my **** that it almost feels like a privilege to still be with you and I will be eternally grateful. You always find a way to reel me in and make me remember or find new reasons to why I fell for you when we started.

SIDE NOTE: To the people on here that say love isn't for them or that it's stupid or that they intend to never bother with it, I sincerely hope things change for you later on down the road. It may seem stupid and pointless now and by all means it can hurt, but in the end I think it can really change your life for the better when you've found the right person and you won't regret having gone out there and tried.

2014 is going to be a better year for both of us. I'm going to try and not let you down anymore. Things are already looking up and hopefully; whether it be tomorrow, the summer, or October; I can look forward to sitting at the airport and waiting for your arrival. Or more realistically, I run late and you look around for me while I rush there because when have I ever been on time? These past 2 years with you have been incredible; even the bad times; and here's to another 365 days.

Now then Chrissypoo where do I start? I knew from the moment you first asked me to be your girlfriend that something was right. I am yet to be proven otherwise. As we've grown up my affection for you has only grown with it (my spelling has really improved since then too!). Imagining you not being in my regular day would be hard now. I hope to have you in my day for as long as it is possible.
You are always constant support for me. There for me when I need someone, there for me all the time which I'm eternally grateful for.
I know the later half of 2013 wasn't the best for either of us. We have both helped eachother through the grating year. You were the one person stopping me from feeling completely alone.
Things are better for the both of us now. You have moved on and I am feeling like I'm settling in. We are in a fresh start for the good together. (not for that long as I'll have exams in may! D: )

As for Lyra and Bon we'll have more to boast about from being together longer than their short and quick year together in the future. But we won't rub it in other people's faces unlike them, do it just to ourselves.

I want to be with you for as long as I can. You are truely an important part of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. The day I can finally meet you will probably top the day you asked me to be your girlfriend. (even if we get lost!)
You are perfect to me just the way you are and I wouldn't change a thing about you. I sometimes worry about you no longer liking me, I wouldn't be as happy without you and can't imagine it now. You have changed my life for the good. I will always care for you no matter what happens. You'll never be just a dead weight to me.

Don't worry about what anyone else says. This is an achievement.
