Just got a free mini skylander at gamestop with a purchase of any single skylander.

Hmm....I might have been interested in this if they still had the SSA sidekicks (which is what is pictured), but I probably shouldn't spend the money, anyway, and since Lost Islands doesn't seem to be getting any updates, I feel I have no use for them (and guess I still don't since I have already won them with spins) except for collection purposes (which I'm beginning not to care as much about). Still tempting, though, as I still need Terrabite and Trigger Snappy.

So, I was really happy when I saw this post last night, I also went to their site and noticed it was in their weekly ad too. I thought I might actually be able to get a hold of a sidekick. But so far this morning I must have called 5 Gamestops and nobody has any? Very disappointed.

This was an old promotion back in January. The ones that you got were probably the last few ones.

This is probably just to finish off stock of the "buy $x of skylanders get a sidekick" promo from last month. I know my local store still had them sitting in a drawer. SKU'd or not the manager still asked if I needed any a couple weeks ago because I'm a regular. Manager's probably got tired of waiting and gave them all away already, hence why all your stores are out(Even though they're supposed to be rung through the system to leave the building).

This is what I thought after about the 3rd call. I figured it wouldn't hurt to call a few more stores though but everyone I talk to sounds like they haven't had any sidekicks in a while. Ohhhhh well, I tried.

They had both SSA and GIANT sidekicks, some of the guys there don't even know what they are and can't find them. I've called the same store before with someone saying they don't have it, to another call saying they do.

When I first called they didn't even know about the promotion until i pointed out it was on twitter yesterday.

Managed to finish off my Giants set with this one. The store had 2 Thumplings and 2 Barkelys, but didn't even know about the promotion until it scanned. I also used a free Adventure Club pass to get the Skylander so $20 sidekick for free = win!

Just called one of my local Gamestops...they've been sold out of Sidekicks since the Skylander Day promo....

Visited my local GameStop, and they didn't have any in stock. The guy also said that they have a new shipment that they haven't gotten to yet, so they may be in there. But rather than check, he told me to come back later. lol

I hate to rehash an old thread, but on Gamestop.com, I noticed individual Skylanders figures are listed with a free bonus sidekick. Have any of you placed an order recently and gotten one? Or if you've placed an order for multiple Skylander figures at Gamestop.com, have you gotten multiple? Just wondering in hopes to get some feedback since their online customer service is horrible and I don't trust them with such promos.

My son picked up a few skylanders at our local gamestop about a week or two ago and got a sidekick for each that he purchased, now this was in store and all but it did happen so there's that.
I also have 0 use for their customer service, they are not only less than useful they also hand out false information and have no clue how to handle customers. For all my CS needs I talk to the local manager, he can always fix my problems and has a good attitude.

I just got another free mini sidekick today, its still buy any single figure and get a free sidekick. don't think you can do it online.

I may have to poke in the ones around me later if they have anything good, that's usually the problem though is the low selection if they are just trying to get rid of sidekicks
