I don't think Giants was "lazy" rather than "hastily put together" hence less new figures etc. TfB are hard workers, trust me.

To the previous poster--VV actually did have 2 years for SF, this has been documented. They were working on it at the end of the first game.

Giants was not the best idea but definately better than Swapping to me.Sure,both feel like an unecessary expansion pack,but having the original Skylanders is better than Swappers,which goes against all kinds of character common sense and appeals more to kids than anything. Also I take 'normal stats except for huge HP and empowerment' over 'everyone is nerfed except the new guys'.

I'm torn on the new 'landers.

I don't want to call them rehashes - but I'm concerned they won't bring much to the table. The first one 'looks' (speculation) like Chop Chop meets Riptide. The second - Night Shift meets Double Trouble. The third, Camo X Spyro. Just from a gameplay perspective, nothing in their design screams "I wonder what he'll/she'll do?"

On the flip, I do like the way the second character looks, and the third one has potential depending on how it's posed.
