What do you value? [CLOSED]

I've seen a couple of topics about personal inquiries (height, sexuality, etc.) lately, and I know they tend to be very popular on dS due to the fact that pretty much everybody likes talking about themselves when asked.
My problem with those topics is that they're always the same boring questions, so here's one that could actually tell us something new about each other.

What do you value? I know such a thing usually depends on context, but what are the things you generally hold most important?

You can answer in two ways:

A: Pleb mode
- Name 1-3 things that you feel are the most important.

B: 2deep4u mode
- Name 1-3 things that you think (HA HA time for logic) are the most important, then explain why.

I'll post mine later, to avoid stretching the first post and scaring off users who don't like reading.

I'm gonna go pleb mode because my thoughts aren't coming into my head right now .-.

Personality, Looks and Relationship.

Honesty is a big one for me. As is friendship.
Life, how could I forget that one. Life is the most important thing to me. And can't forget logic.

To clarify, I'm not just talking about personal attributes. This topic is about any and all things.

Just ignore this post if you already got that.

In all honesty, these first came to mind:

Myself/yourself, those who benefit me/you, and open mindedness/expansion.

Alternatively, I could also say yourself, those you can benefit, and moving forward.

I'll give more thought on this later, perhaps, instead of some things I felt on a whim...

1. Humanity. If one does not have humanity, one is truly an abomination. If the world fills with abomination, all us lost.
2. Self-confidence. If I wasn't confident, my life would be a mess. Tgere are so many sityations where I could of just cried, byt I didn't, it's cringeable
3. Justice. Eye for eye tooth for tooth, vengeance's sweeter sister. And almost everyone seeks vengeance, excuse me, "justice" in some way.

I could always try "2deep4u" mode..e.e
I value life, because....well, why wouldn't I? It's life. XP
I value my family, cause they're my family...
I value Animals and nature, because they are what make this world so beautiful.
I sort-of value Humanity, just not very much. I don't wanna see Humanity destroy itself, but what can I possibly do?? XD
I value friendship, cause it's just so awesome and I enjoy having friends very much.
That's all I can think of right now..

Life, because, it's better than death. smilie

Um, mercy. Mercy, because, you have to be able to give mercy to everyone, and anyone who can do that I admire.

And, love. Just being able to give and relieve love is something I'd like.

I guess I'll go 2deep4u mode.

1. Above all I value efficiency. Efficiency in anything means doing the right things, choosing the right tool for the job, reacting to outside stimuli in the best possible way to change things the way you want them to be.
This could be seen as a mathematical, cold way to think about things, but efficiency can be applied absolutely anywhere. Love, relationships, debating, playing games, working out, etc. depending on your own motivations.
If what you want is love, it is efficient to keep your relationships going as well as you can. If you are sick, the best medicine is the most efficient one.
Only when we act most efficiently in any given situation do we reach our full potential. And that is what I think is important in life. Otherwise the time you have goes to waste. This value is also heavily reflected in the rest of the things I will list.

2. I value ability. We are our only resource. Anything else we do/make depends on our ability to work well with any given subject/task/situation. People like to think we are all equal, and that is a comforting (if a bit naive) idea, but in the end we are all ranked by our capabilities, what we can do.
Also, by "ablity" I don't just mean personal skills, ability can be attained by other means.
For example, human beings can't learn to breath in water, but we are able to go underwater thanks to scuba-gear, which we made. We can't learn to fly, but we are able to thanks to airplanes, gliders, etc. which we made. We can't learn to travel between celestial bodies, but we are able to thanks to modern technology, which we created.

3. I value health. Physical fortitude equals mental fortitude, that's no lie. In a world where everything you have is materia and your body - you - is your only true posession which will stick with you from your birth to your dying day it's imperative to keep it in good shape.
I always try to encourage others to do the same, if only just for the fact that it's one of the best feelings in the world. Pushing past your limits and then realizing that you made it happen, not your friend, not the guy next to you, but you yourself. Hell, it's better than sex. I wish everybody knew that feeling.

I shall try the answering option B even though it could possibly go horribly wrong, therefore leaving me embarrassed. But let us continue, shall we?

#1

I value freedom the most. This is because without freedom and the circumstances it gives one could not do decisions out of one’s true needs. The world and society, where basic liberties are guaranteed and philosophical free will to use is allowed, is a place where people can feel secure and safe. Freedom is the basic element for building one’s own happiness. It motivates us in the tough times when it seems that it is threatened to take away from us and it gives us the stability to practice our lives the way we desire.

#2

Health is the second most important thing I think. This concept considers both physical and mental health. The times when our health is unstable either physically or mentally are times when we feel the most forlorn. When we are not healthy, we cannot function properly at our fullest, which threatens our happiness, our ability to make plans, decisions, etc. That’s why it is most urgent to maintain basic physical conditioning good, eat regularly (mainly healthy diet), and focus our mental capacities and energy to the things that really matter and will eventually pay off in benefit of our mental well-being.

#3

My third target of high valuation is relationships. The concept of relationship in this category considers all relationships types from basic professional relationships with co-workers, school mates etc. to relationships of profound nature such as life-long friendships, romantic relationships and relationships with closest family members. Because humans are crowd animals and cannot survive all alone in raw 100 per cent nature without safety net, it is important to have people to stand by your side in good and bad times.

I might give you more opinions... for a small fee of course.

Glad to see someone understood what the option B was about.
