Ash's Advice on Dances
At dances, you're supposed to:
Text your friends that are sitting right next to you
Take fabulous selfies and post them on Instagram
Play games on your iPhone such as Flappy Bird
Surf the web on your iPhone
Get high on potato chips, Doritos and other junk food
Get drunk on the punch

See? You're NOT supposed to dance at dances!!

No, it's not. Grammar does not change that easily.

"Who" is used as the subject in a sentence. "Whom" is used as the object.

Examples:
Who is speaking?
To whom would you like to speak?

Your sentence, "Whom actually dances at dances?", features "whom" as the subject. Therefore, it should be "who".

Whatever. All the old people I know always make me say "WHOM" allll the time. By the way, WHOM asked you if I was gramatically incorrect? WHOM wants to know? WHOM EVEN CARES?
I know what I am doing. I don't need you to point out everything that I do incorrectly.
The subject was people at the dance. So if "whom" is the subject like you say;
Subject of my post - people at the dance
Whom - subject

By the way, Metallo, I was listening to this, and thought of you immediately. <3

I never liked going to school dances. Can't say I didn't got constant invites to them!
I'm not much of a dancer and I felt that if I went there to hang with my friends, why not got to a better place?

My school had a dance tonight (or maybe it was yesterday, I honestly don't know) but I didn't go... In 6th grade I went to one of the dances because a friend pressured me to go and **** it sucked, I'm not a dancer and I was the only one wearing casual jeans and not a huge dress (what would you expect though, you know?). It wasn't that bad, but still.

Anyway though congrats on the yellow sparx smilie
