What happens if you delete your first save file? [CLOSED]

I beat story mode on my first save file but haven't 100% completed it. I've also just started my nightmare save in slot 2. I kind of just want to focus on the nightmare save… if I deleted the first save would the nightmare one move up and become save slot 1? Or would I screw up anything?

I think it would just stay slot two.

Yeah. I am pretty sure the save file stays on the same slot
