Sounds like some of you experienced the demise of another acti game, universe? What happened? Can you continue to play just without bug fixes and updates? I ask cuz I have a while to go and will keep playing...but...

I see no reason you can't keep playing until you've achieved all of the existing content, and beyond if you like. They've more or less got everything on autopilot now. I'd stay away from visiting as people are still reporting problems. Otherwise, I'm not sure how likely we are to get new bugs since they aren't adding new content.

Universe was different as it was a website they shut down. Lost Islands is an app, so I would think it would keep going in its current state.
