i was trading my starter on wonder trade, hoping to get a snivy. but after 5 trades, i got the legendary Pokemon lugia...... is that common?

lugia is the 3rd most common pokemon found on X and Y, so yes.

Well actually it's kind of rare-ish for anyone to give up a legendary, unless if they cloned a thousand of them.

Well actually it's kind of rare-ish for anyone to give up a legendary, unless if they cloned a thousand of them.

I think Trix is referring to the Friend Safari. Which Snivy is actually not available in. It's a post-game thing where you can get some Pokemon based on your friends on your 3DS. It replaces the Safari Zone and is in Kiloude.

Snivy can only be gotten through Transfer from B/W so it's jsut a matter of luck. I actually have a Snivy, but only one. I'd need to breed it first before I could give you one.

The Pokemon obtainable is actually really limited though. The Gen 1 and 6 2nd stage starters are the only ones you can get.


Here's a list of obtainable stuff


You get one Safari for every friend on your 3DS friend list. Each safari has 3 Pokemon (2 until the friend beats the elite 4 in their game) and is strictly of one type. How the Pokemon are determined ahs to do with the Friend Code, I think as each person's safari will be same for every one who has them has a friend.

My Safari is Poison with Kakuna, Garbodor, and Whirlipede. Whoever friends me can access that safari.

It's actually done by random and only friends can view it.

Sadly no, Only Ivysaur, Charmeleon, Wartortle, Quilladin, Frogadier, and Braixen are. Even, then if you get lucky enoguh to get a Fire, Grass, or Water safari you could end up with none of them.
