Easy, mathematics was invented in order to calculate real physical phenomena.

As to what you should do, don't approach this test like it was a problem that you can't overcome.
If/when you're stressed out, it helps to have a to-do list. That way you can concentrate on what you're doing, instead of trying to remember all the things you need to do. Then just work your way through that list single task at a time. Forget everything else.

With math problems the same thing applies. One calculation at a time and you'll get there.

My parents tried to help me with my math homework and they kept yelling at me that I'm wrong (Why did they help in the first place, I was fine) Then they said I'm bad at maths and need extra tuition?

But without math, we wouldn't be able to make the fundamental concept of physics. And without math and physics, we wouldn't be able to formulate basic principles of chemistry.
