No Swappable characters are in Triple Packs..

And, to fully answer it: No.

So it only came in the starter pack I guess ?
I'm guessing because we purchased the Dark Edition, that would explain why we don't have him in our collection.

There's a small chance that he could get a single. Ninja Stealth Elf is getting one.

Correct, getting the Dark Edition, gave you the Dark variants that only came with that Collectors item. If you need a NON-Dark version, you will need to buy another regular starter pack or find someone selling a loose figure.

Blast Zone

Summoning a STUNFISK
1. Go to a beach - 2. Fall flat on the ground - 3. Recite Stunfisks fart-cry
4. Flop 618 times - You have a STUNFISK!

Blast Zone is also a starter pack only character currently.

Slobbertooth and Mega Ram Spyro are available separately on their own.

This is exactly the reason that there was zero chance of our household getting either the Wii U bundle (although the 32 GB hard drive played into that as well) or the dark edition.

Regular Wash Buckler is just way too freaking cool to pass up on.

How do we know NSE is getting a single pack? Hopefully, Wash Buckler will get a single release. DWB looks awful, the design does not go well with the colors. I really regret getting the Dark Starter Pack (Except for DMRS and DST)

As I've mentioned before, Walmart.com leaked out every singe pack character before the game came out, and she was listed as one. Same with Wind-Up, Pop Thorn, and regular Grim Creeper.

I'll believe it when I see it. Its Walmart rather than directly from Activision

I dont foresee the Adventure Pack characters being released as singles. Nor do I see the console tied figures released as singles.

S1 Trigger Happy/Gill Grunt/Spyro were all tied to the game only. Spyro's S1 Dark variant wasn't released *in the US* as a single to my knowledge and E3 collector singles for TH and GG were E3 collector items.

The only single release for Tree Rex is his Gnarly variant. The base one is still tied to buying a version of the game. Two of the old Adventure pack characters got singles now, but its their S2 versions.

Given that you need the new portal for Swap Force, I cant imagine why they would break BlastZone or WashBuckler away from that. I can see the Darks getting releases outside the US similar to Dark Spyro or Punch Pop Fizz. Wind-Up and Pop Thorn might see their way to singles with a S2 for the next game.

Grim Creeper is the only maybe, but I would still think they'd continue to tie at least 2 of the 3 figures into only via the Battle Pack.

Giants:

Starter- tree rex, cynder, jet vac. Cynder got a single, jet vac did but in AU
Battle pack 1: shroomboom got a single
Battle pack 2: hot dog got a single
There were no adventure packs in giants

So its very likely that ninja stealth elf could get a solo, popthorn a solo, and windup a solo. Also volcanic E will prob get a single in the UK again only

??? I fail to follow your logic outside of Volcanic Eruptor. No Adventure Pack character got a single as their original Series 1. So there is no basis for Wind-Up or Pop Thorn to break that. ShroomBoom got a single, but S2 Chop Chop didnt. The only single of his S2, was the blue variant from Toy Fair. Likewise, Hot Dog got a single, but S2 Zap didn't. Camo is getting a S2. Grim Creeper has a solo Lightcore. So his NON-LC is likely tied with the Crossbow. Terrafin has a single, and Bumble Blast is going to have a solo Lightcore. So its more likely his NON-LC will be locked with the Fiery Forge. Cynder and Jet Vac has solos because Giants has a Portal Owners pack that was only Tree Rex.

I was just saying that based off giants it's possible that windup and popthorn being new figures would get a single. Camo like chop chop prob wont as other returning figures. Idk thou about grim keeper, he could get a single but who knows, same with a regular bumble blast.

Hoenstly ive stoped trying to predict activ anymore, just when you think you got it stuff like pumpkin eyebrawl and the new sprocket come out of left field.

I dont deny things can come out of left field. I just don't see the characters tied to the adventure packs being separated as S1s. Likewise at least two of the pieces in the Battle Packs needs to be exclusive to that pack, otherwise there isn't enough motivation for just the random magic item. IMO anyways. Console and 3DS figures, be it variants, exclusives, etc seem to be the most confusing and prone to randomness. I have no doubt the Darks and Volcanic will show up as singles even if they end up being in the UK or AU

The 3ds pack comes with free Ranger and Rattle shake, so if you only purchased that you would have no way of getting blast zone or wash buckler. Who knows, I ended up with 4 copies of swap force through birthdays and xmas so.I have dark, regular and color shift washbuckler but I imagine I'm in a very small minority.

I'm sure the 3DS ONLY crowd is a very small minority (both in RL and Activision's eyes) as well.

Erm.. That list was probably directly from Activision. It was removed soon after it leaked out.

It also gave us the name for the Arkeyan Crossbow.

Again, I will believe it when I see it.

You saying "was probably" doesn't confirm anything. Thats nothing more than an assumption. When you have a website for a company of Walmart's size, there are bound to be screw ups. Especially with a product list of dozens of individual figures. Short of an actual Activision employee on record stating the leak on the website was correct I take it with a grain of salt. Are there screenshots floating around? Something with product ID numbers for the questionable single releases? Then I'll consider it to have more merit.

Because we have the Wii, Xbox and 3DS, we got the 3ds Starter and Xbox Starter (Pre-Ordered) at TRU. We also got the Dark Starter for the Wii.
This covered us for all Starter Characters. The only duplicate we ended up with was the Rattle Shake from Target with Nitro (Yes we could have got an extra Free Ranger instead), this is OK since RS is one of mine and my sons favorite Swapper.

Hmmm...in the end, Activision will do what it wants to. The first game had all adventure packs with exclusive figs that never got a release as a single. They changed things up for Giants, but who knows what they may decide for Swap Force? It's fine to doubt something until there's proof, especially with Skylanders. I have faith that if there's any info to be had about possible singles, we'll get it here, whenever. It's the whenever part though that gets frustrating! I personally chose to get a regular Starter when they were at a fairly-reduced price (for me, after the trade-ins and $20 off, $46.91...woohoo 9.5% sales tax smilie'' ) at the "GS Skylanders Festival". That way, no matter what, I wasn't paying an exhorbitant amount for them. I suggest if it costs more to get them loose, to try for a good sale on the Starters or get the whole thing used. If you check out the selection, sometimes you can do quite well. I hope you have good luck on your hunt!

I got the ps3 dark edition for the kids when swap force came out. During the last skylanders day at gamestop I used my ps3 SSA portal and the $20 off to get the regular starter for the ps4 that way we can play it on both consoles. I would like to get the 3ds version or the Wii U version for the different variants but can't see buying a new console for both just to get the one variant they are offering. Will wait till the prices drop for those.
