One of my local darkspyro friends told me about this---definitely more beneficial....but the cost of entry is up there. You'd have to get ALL of your landers there for it to work...to date both online and store has been mediocre on the stock would be my only concern.

Also, you'd want to get ALL of your games there as well...

Yeah, this isn't a good deal unless you happen to be someone who shops exclusively and only at Best Buy.

This is obviously just an additional perk for people who already have the membership. Nobody would sign up just for the 20% Skylanders discount.

Well, if you watched your email the past couple months, they re-upped many who had been members in the recent past until March for free and sent a coupon for $30 for two additional years (instead of the usual $120). There is an extensive thread on CAG concerning this promotional email and who was eligible.

For $120, it probably isn't worth it. For $30, if you buy lots of figures/games, it definitely is worth it. I've saved at least that over the holidays with gifts and other odds and ends. Given the option, I will almost always choose Best Buy counting the discount AND you get points towards future purchases. I have a good one near my house (NOT the mall one, which is terrible, particularly on how they handle pre-orders). Best Buy sucks at Skylanders though, their stocking is very inconsistent.

Also I payed 15 bucks for the gamers unlocked before the new program was started.

Just letting people know that there is that perk.

Best Buy has all of the wave 3 singles (at least as of a few mins ago). Amazon is currently out of HB Whirlwind and HB Prism Break, so go go go! Only $7.99 each with unlocked.
