Difference between platinum and original discs? [CLOSED]

Are the original labelled Classic discs more rare than the platinum discs? Worth more? Idk smilie

I'm not sure about the first two games, but YotD's Platinum Version (or Greatest Hits in the NTSC region) goes for more than original black-label versions. It includes the "Spike is Born" cutscene in the main game, new, original music for levels that previously lacked their own themes (e.g. Lost Fleet, the Speedways) or had a musical glitch (Sorceress's Lair for North Americans). It also fixes some of the game-breaking bugs the original version had, like gems not spawning. <.<

It's only the US Greatest Hits version that has the new music. I own the PAL Platinum version and it doesn't have any of the new music. But, at least it still has the Spike is Born cutscene and the fixed glitches.

I have that version too. Not all glitches are fixed, I don't think.. smilie
