he's is only a color change right. He doesn't show up different in the game. I think I'm getting him free but I also agree it's better to get him on there site then to take a chance with the coupon.

i tried calling 2 different stores. one wouldnt answer the phone. the other had no idea wtf i was talking about. the online person on toysrus.com also didnt know if they would be in stores.

He's just a different colored figure. He's shiny green, sorta like Color Shift Wash Buckler, but Gilly doesn't change color as much.

He shows up in the game at Level 5, with 2100 coins, and has a Special tag next to his name, adding differently to your collection in-game.

Ordered mine earlier, along with wife and son. Idk why these are up there unless tru is selling them to everyone.

Also asked the tru i went to tonight and they showed me anchors away...so ya clueless.

My local TRU did not have any out. I spoke with the manager and she didn't know anything about so she looked it up on her system, which really just told her there was no hold on it. She then looked through some boxes which only had W3 swappers. A truck was coming tonight and she guessed they would be on it but didn't know.

So really, I think the lesson is to pick it up if you see it at your store because it might not be there when the email coupon comes in..no hold on it. This doesn't qualify as confirmed info though, so use your own judgement.

Grabbed one and a few other items for the free shipping. Now just have a spare S3 Terrafin to unload....

Im starting to think this is their "silver/green/gold sprocket", in other words tru was always getting these as a limited release but planned to offer it for free as a deal prior to the release and keep that info secret from everyone so they would spend the 100 at tru to get it for free.

You mean green and silver sprocket? If that's the case, we might see surprise variants from all the major retailers?

I have a feeling most store will get them in the next day or so, and the free coupons will go out tomorrow, with them being put out on Sunday. No evidence, but the dating of the original offer when they said it would go out, plus TRU's inclination to put out new Skylanders on Sundays.

I'll wait till I get the coupon and they come to stores, with mine and my wife's Reward Zone, I should be getting two coupons. If I were to order, I'd end up with three and really don't want to pay shipping.

Finally bit when I saw Color Shift Wash Buckler on eBay for a little over $30 shipped a few weeks ago. So glad I didn't buy it right away last year when it was $90+, and no way was I going to buy the Wii U bundle and try to sell off all the extras to recoup over $200.
