New to the Skylander thing, What are some good forums/other Skylander sites?

The Skylanders subreddit is quite active these days.

However as it is still Reddit, there is a much more "adult" atmosphere (which I prefer, but still fair warning). It is not censored like this board. The biggest upside to it is if you want one place to quickly check on a daily basis for what's been announced, what's in the stores, what people have found, etc. It pulls from all of the typical Skylanders news sources, kind of like a one stop shop when you just want a quick update.

I'm personally a big fan of Portalflip. The guy who runs that blog is also a member here at DarkSpyro. Those are the only two sources you need, in my opinion. However, there are other good sites too, like SkylandersCharacterList ("SCL"), GhostRoaster.com, "CheapAssGamer", plus various Facebook pages, YouTube pages, and Reddit forums.

Ive fond the others arent as good as here. You have some good peeps that work at TRU, GameStop, and Target who keep the community updated on when and where to find new stuff.

I'm also a moderator for r/skylanders and it's definitely a more mature forum but also very friendly and always eager to help out fellow Skylander fans. I'm not running a membership drive or anything here but if anyone has any questions about it you can always drop me a line.
