double trouble trouble ? [CLOSED]

i bought a few used skylanders at a vintage stock right.. and tonight im looking at my double trouble and i notice somethings wrong.. i have a series 1 and a series 2 but then i notice the base on the one i got is series 2, but the figure is series one.

have any of you ever seen something like this ? if its a custom it looks really good and really fooled me. questions thoughts comments ?

The series 1 pose with an orange base is the double trouble from the battlegrounds pack (the non royal packs). It will show in the game as series 2.
