Plot
The setting, a small town near Chicago, surrounded by hills and forests and other towns nearby. People pass through everyday, going by on their everyday lives, but one thing seems out of the ordinary. A large house has been placed somewhere in the mountains of the Chicago area, reports have been going wild as to what is happening in the ominous mansion. Some say it is a crotchety old man with a desire of world domination who is going to try and achieve it by creating a breed of superhumans. Some believe the true story is that he is plotting to release a nation-wide viral outbreak that will eradicate a large majority of the populace and only those who live will be deemed worthy to live in his world. Reports are breaking out in the town that zombies are appearing in the mountains, most people don't believe it, but their views may change soon enough. A small group of people are banding together to help those who escape the town to a fictional island where it is believed to be safe.

A small town near Chicago. The year is 2015, the RP starts two days before the city outbreak. It is Fall
Rules
No godmodding (Means, no powerful weapons and items)
Everyone has different stories, so no "OH this persons a loner," or "They have no parents." Make unique characters with flaws because everyone has them.
No mary sues
Absolutely NO ONE LINERS! Minimum posting is 4 lines. Inability to do this will not help you

Skills
Everyone can have 1 skill to start with and later on get a second then a third farther on, here are the skills and effects:
*Medic - Can heal allies faster, health increase is 60% higher
*Toughness - Reduces damage by 25%
*Luck - Increase odds of critical hits on enemies, and decreases odds of being seen when hiding (I.E. Headshots)
*Handgun Technician - Improves handgun handling and reloading speeds
*Shotgun Technician - Improves shotgun handling and reloading speeds
*Machine Gun Technician - Improves machine gun handling an reloading speeds
*Rifle Technician - Improves rifle handling and reloading speeds
*Magnum Technician - Improves magnum handling and reloading speeds
*Grenade Expert - Improves knowledge of explosives
*Smart Reload - Load guns quickly even when under pressure
*Giantslayer - Deal 50% more damage to bosses
*Knife Expert - Increase Knife abilities
*Quick Feet - Lower odds of falling when jumping gaps and tripping when running with panic
*Calm and Collected - Decrease Fear and panic in dire situations by 50%
Ailments
People can have the following ailments and how to get them and how to remove them.
*Poison
-Gradually lowers health
-Caused by : Poisonous plants or enemies
-Cured by : First Aid / Antibody pills
*Fear
-Increases odds of dropping ammo magazines when reloading, slower reloading speeds, increased odds of falling and getting noticed when hiding
-Caused by : Zombie mobs / Quick time situations / Other (Could be a character flaw)
-Cured by : Breathing calmly? getting away from the area / Other (Character could possibly snap people out of fear)
*Zombie
-Turns the victim into a zombie if not cured in 60 minutes
-Caused by : Zombie bite / Infection by bacteria in a substance
-Cured by : Antivirus Pills (Super Rare and hard to find, and hold off infection for 12 hours)

History: Agnes was the child of a Navy Captain and a housewife. She was taught many things of war and firearms by her father. She was homeschooled but grew up knowing many people around town and having many friends. Her parents always gave her everything she wanted for being the only child, but she was humble and never asked for anything much, except fencing lessons. After taking it for seven years, she became adept at swiftly attacking her adversaries and knowledge of where to strike and when. One day, her father was called to a greeting party along with several other people around town once the mansion was completed. Agnes knew this was suspicious, and he hasn't returned yet when he left only a few hours ago.
