Sorry Rob, but we've seen it quite a few times already.
It's an awesome looking figure, nonetheless.

As cool as she is yes, the price for her no thanks tho. I would rather buy 2 standard Lightcore Smolderdash at the rate the series has gone.

Saw Gold Fire Kraken go for over $1k and $800 on eBay. For that price, the figure must come with free "crack" with the kraken. ![]() Variants have gone to a level I will not play. I'll let those with more money than sense continue with the nonsense. But honestly...I haven't seen any of these on eBay.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed. |

I've always liked the variants that are rare like this one, but I refuse to pay much more than the actual store price for any Skylander. They're neat, but it's only plastic, yo. I'll just enjoy the neat pics on the intarwebz.

The most ill probably pay for a rare variant is $35-$50 even if I was well off. I prefer to either find them in a store and pay retail like the Glitter Hot Head and Purple Eye Brawl or get one from places like E3 and other places like that. For the record, I have never found a rare variant, own one, or have been to E3 or any other "Con" or show thingy. In one shot I ordered in November, Lightcore Pop Fizz, Punch Pop Fizz in a single pack, Molten Hot Dog, Polar Whirlwind, Green Gill Grunt, and S3 Chop Chop and Big Bang Trigger Happy (which I could not find anywhere) from Amazon with a total of almost $100. Impulse buy? Maybe..,

Just after SSA the value of them are just not worth it. That is just how I see it. Why buy a Series 1 Smolderdash worth $1,000 if she might end up Series 2 in the next game or so? Why pay $1,000 for something that is going to price drop that fast is all.
I think the main thing that bothers me is I see people that will not want to buy a 2nd character for a second path in the game because they say it is "too expensive" yet I see the same thing like this happen instead. Also I am not saying this to pennyman, I know he owns a lot of the figures. It's more so of people that keep resetting figures.

My question is: is it an in-game variant? or just altered packaging and paint scheme? if it were a separate in-game character, I might consider putting out some coin...

Hm, it really DOES say Snowderdash on the packaging, needed a clear pic on that. Makes me wonder if all Snowderdashes are nicknamed Snowderdash but appear the same as normal, like how Jolly Bumble Blast has the hat preprogrammed to have him wear it.

These holiday employee figures are a bunch of BS. I am tired of seeing figures I will never own because of the inflated cost and not being available to the public.

She just shows up as Special, nothing else, other than the normal Level 5, 2100 coins.
