no idea. we just walked into toysrus and saw them, and it was a shock. I haven't heard anything about them being release. we grabbed them and went to the register and bought them without a problem. there was a few others on the shelf too.

They weren't released in the US until this week. TRU had plenty of them when I went. Lots of talk in other threads, including sheep wreck island and swappers.

So if you have a Series 1 Wham Shell maxed out there is no reason to buy a Lightcore...

Well, Lightcore characters do have the "Lightcore" attack that throws splash damage around the first time they're swapped in on a level. If you're looking to get the absolute maximum use/damage out of a character and a S2/S3 version isn't available, a Lightcore would definitely be a step up from a standard/original/S1 version. -Doug
