Officially, yes, the Amanda Show did use the theme to Wizard Peak and did not credit Stewart Copeland. The problem was I don't think Insomniac was big enough to challenge Nick in a lawsuit. <.<;

Ok, listening to that opening, I have two comments:
1. the show looks GAY 2. that is NOT song theft. A very common practice these days in the world of music is to take partial melodies of familiar tunes/songs and tweak it to make a song that's familiar yet technically unique. There's a fine line on the legality of using this technique, so in some cases, suing can happen. Don't be surprised next time if you hear something familiar in a tune you haven't heard before - it could be very well be a known melody that's been modified.

Yeah, it was really quite funny.
And it did continue into the new milennium. Well, either that or they used to show repeats from then onwards. Anyway, I dunno if any of you have watched Catscratch. I used to, a programme about three cats that own a mansion and usually end up destroying it, where their butler repairs it. On numerous occasions, I've heard the main melody of Gulp's music from Spyro 2 when something bad happens on there.

I don't know why, but I when I saw this commerical with a woman trying to sleep and the music is on... it sounds like Spyro music from The Eternal Night!

Stewart Copeland did actually work on the Amanda Show, he just wasn't credited. And its actually quite common for him to use his older music in his current projects. "The Equalizer," the main theme to an 80's television show of the same name, was on one his newest CD, Orchestrelli.
Since Spyro's fandom is so small, unless its a project Stewart Copeland is involved with, I doubt that any Spyro music will make it to the airwaves. The last television project Stewart Copeland did was The Life & Times of Juniper Lee, and I didn't know who the hell Stewart Copeland was at the time I watched that, so I am not sure if he reused any Spyro stuff in there, but I wouldn't doubt he did.
