Fire Kraken is my overall favourite of the new Skylanders. Pop Thorn is a close second.

This survey shouldve been done after all of them are out in the market. How can one say such and such is my favorite if you havent played with it yet.

Well you cannot play it till you bought it and if i buy it i will probably like it so thats a biased opinion.
My choice of skylanders has nothing to do with their powers or strength . I am sold on bright colours and good looks and percieved bubbly personality or cute concept.

If life in skylands is too difficult i adjust the difficulty setting so strength and power is relative.

The word Stink Bomb , his sculpt and colour pallete , that angry frown are unattractive to me . Boys sometimes buy things based on the "gross factor" and I think thats why Stinky was created the way he was .

Maybe he gets the job done but he is not going to be invited for any tea parties at the Barbie Mansion.

I love both Trap Shadow and Fire Kraken but I have to choose Fire Kraken because at the moment I'm in a craze for him :3

Trap Shadow all the way. Can't wait till he comes out! My second choice would be Fire Kraken, he's grown on me since I've had him a while.

the acorn path and the sneaky tricks path are really really weak, they make stink bomb terrible, however, i agree that he is overrated.
also trap shadow is winning, but he's not even out yet. i won't ever vote for a skylander that isn't out as my favourite, maybe it looks cool but it's gameplay it's terrible

This is a fun survey. I wasn't expecting Magna Charge to be 3rd though. Also, show support for Pop Thorn, the only non Swap Force Skylander on the list! I voted for Doom Stone.

@voodude I totally agree. I like Trap Shadow's design(mainly because he uses bear traps! Which is awesome!), but even after reading all his upgrades in the guide his moveset seems really... Meh... He seems like he should have been one of the first (less exciting) figures out, IMO, he just doesn't seem very interesting...

For me, it roughly goes like this: smilie > smilie > smilie > smilie > smilie > smilie > smilie > smilie

I've actually only played Magna Charge, Fire Kraken and Night Shift out of those (saving the others for later) but I'm judging off the gameplay in the trailers mainly, and partially, how interesting their personality/backstory seems.

I actually like all the choices a lot besides Trap Shadow and partially Doom Stone, though none of my favourites besides Night Shift (and I now prefer Rattle Shake anyway) got in smilie
