I understand extra revision that you want to do but doing work in you time is stupid. A school is for work not at home.

If it's actually helping students learn, then I can understand giving a little bit once in a while (not too much of course). Maybe if there's not enough time in class to do a worksheet so a teacher assigns it as homework is fine too. Teachers can't usually spend multiple days on the same simple subject because kids won't do a little homework (here, anyway).

But if it's given for the sake of giving it, or because the teacher was too lazy to cover the material, or if they just give so much that it's not benefiting the students, then it's definitely wrong.

As for me, I rarely get actual homework I need to do at home (besides a little studying of course) because there's so many opportunities to get it done within a school day here so I just do it at school.

I just do it at School normally.

And we don't even get it that much so I don't mind it when we do actually get some homework.

We've all been through that, and even though LevanJess' post is pretty much all there is to say, I think it's useless to discuss this with you since you'll eventually grow up and understand why homework are so important by yourself.

I don't like homework. My teacher gives us a buttload of homework for holidays.

Dude, trust me. When you get into college/university, you're going to get on your knees and thank fate for homework.

homework was okay in primary schol but in high school its **** and it's like teachers don't think you have a life outside of school and then it just causes anxiety and fugiiitrefhknvsq2o98gnf

It's not stupid. My new sixth form gives loads of it and the students here come out with better grades than at my previous one where little was ever given.

The teachers should do a better job teaching and homework wouldn't be needed.

i really could care less for homework so long as it isn't time-consuming.
