Hello everyone it's been awhile since I've posted but I've come out of lurking to ask if anyone knows anything about the availability of Hyper Beam Prism Break? I can't find him on any retailer's website besides Toys R Us and they are out of stock. I really don't want to give into the scalpers and pay $25 dollars for him. Is he a Toys R Us exclusive or did they just get him first? Thanks for your help.

No point in giving into the scalpers. I'm certain that Wave 3 will get a wide release in due time to all retailers. It's just a matter of being patient and saving your money until then.

TRU online has sold out of both Horn Blast Whirlwind and Hyper Beam Prism...I guess Phantom Cynder is still there because there was 2 per box.

I got mine here from TRU in canada in mid december.

I got mine the Sunday before Christmas at TRU.
I have all 5 Prism Breaks (S1, S2-LC, S2-Green Gem, S2-Blue Gem, S3)

I realize that, I was just pointing out that there was more than 4 easy to find Prism Breaks. I thought about editing it a short while after posting but never got back to doing so. But yes you are correct there are a total of 7 Prism Breaks since the beginning. Some are no longer in production and only to be found on the secondary market (EBay/Amazon).

We have all 7, but I am waiting for widespread availability on Hyper Beam because I am going to create a custom Lightcore Hyper Beam, but don't want to chase him down and pay 10-15 bucks for a side project. Will get a second one to modify when there's a BOGO somewhere.

People's definition of ALL is changing by the minute. My idea of ALL excludes chase variants moving forward, for example. Next year, ALL will also exclude reposes. They need to step up the game more if they want me to reconsider.

Enough bragging. I've seen one of him at a local ToysRUs recently, although it was horribly damaged. I found 3 Dune Bugs by looking hard enough.

Prism Break is one of my favorites, but he has been done to death. It is probably for the best that he is only one per case, because he would likely be a shelf warmer otherwise. It may take a bit more time to find, but they are out there.

For the life of me though, I don't get why Cynder is two per case. Almost everyone has Cynder, since she was a pack in for Giants.

um....hyper beam prism break is also going to be available in a 3 pack. So ......we have the TRU release, then other major retailer release for single pack core wave 3....then youll have the three packs come out....the scarcity of this figure is getting blown waaay out of proportion.

My suggestion: if they insist on putting reposes in 3 packs then ONLY make them available in the three packs. They might move them then.

Wvae 3 has one per a box, which is why he seems rare, much like ppl ahd trouble finding chop chop series 3 when wave 2 started. Once a mass release outside tru comes by i'm sure prism will appear more.

I searched all over Toys R Us for him. Everywhere. Every single nook and cranny in the store. Then, I realized that there was a whole other section of the store dedicated to Skylanders. I searched that spot everywhere, still no sign. I found Dune Bug, however, so that excited me.

Then, I found this tiny little spinning shelf (thing), so I searched that up and down. Finally, I spotted him in the very back of the shelf, behind a Horn Blast Whirlwind and a Phantom Cynder. It was perfect, and I jumped around the store for about a half an hour before finally getting in line to pay for it.

It isn't a real variant. A different factory used a clear plastic that has a bluish hue instead of a greenish one. It's like that silly Chill lip color thing. It's an invented variant people use as an excuse to tell themselves they have something special.

As one of the others posted he was only 1 per case. I picked up 3 of these the when they came out but the extras are gone already. He lingered around for a about a week and saw 1 per store on average and not all those Wave 3 guys are sold out pretty much everywhere. They should start to hopefully re-stock now that X-mas is over. I still have extra dunebug, hornblast whildwind and a few others I may return to TRU.

Apparently he is in at Amazon.

Just saw three of them on pegs in my TRU. I'm not interested in variants, however, so they are still there.
