Which title do you think is better for Spyro 2? Gateway to Glimmer or Ripto's Rage?

I actually prefer "Gateway to Glimmer".Mine was named Ripto's Rage,though.

Ripto's Rage. Gateway to Glimmer sounds like it's a game for dancing and stuff like that.

Most definitely Ripto's Rage.

I'm kind of in with the Ripto's Rage title. It's kind of straight forward and it kind of gets the person guessing. Like who is this Ripto character, and why is he mad at Spyro?

I say Ripto's Rage too. Besides, Glimmer isn't what the game revolves around now is it?

I got GtG, but I think that RR is still alot better. GtG just sounds boring and boring and... boring and stuff. What SG2008 said.

Ripto's Rage. But I got a Gateway to Glimmer title, but who cares, as long as it works and it is the exact same copy.

I prefer Gateway to Glimmer. I think it sounds a hell of a lot cooler, Ripto's Rage is a boring name in my opinion.

Okay. As you can see by my avatar, I like the PAL cover best too. Before I got into Spyro I used to think the lizard on the cover (from Skelos Badlands) was Ripto.
And when I first played it, I thought perhaps it was a monster that Ripto turned into.

i like riptos rage better because spyro goes to many more places then glimmer so i dont think gatway to glimmer is the best title.

I agree, 120%. That's EXACTLY why GtG isn't a better title.

What about the Crash Bandicoot GBA game? The Huge Adventure/XS? You know the main story is about the Earth being shrunk down to size, not 'XS' or whatever it is.

You're wrong about that. XS means extra small, so the name is fitting. The Huge Adventure is the less appropriate name as the world is being shrunk, not enlarged.

Not everyone could tell you know.

That's why it was only called XS in Europe.

Ripto's rage sounds like a Spyro game but I'm used to Gateway to Glimmer

and it does work cause when spyro went through the portol to dragon shores where was the first place he landed at GLIMMER so that is the gateway that brought him to hunter and the proffeser and all that!

if you get what i mean and also gtg sounds more like the game cause rr sopunds like lava and all that some how and it is mostly peacefull gemston places spyro goes to!

I agree, Gateway to Glimmer sounds more magical and suits the game better. Ripto's Rage is boring, generic and is annoying when you try to say it fast 10 times in a row.

I ended up with a Gateway to Glimmer copy (I was living in Europe at the time). I like Ripto's Rage better as a title. <.<;

The title Ripto's Rage sounds more like the game because it is Ripto's Rage. Think about it, doesn't it make sense to ya.

i think getaway from glimmer but that sounds strainge because glimmer is just the first levle and riptos rage sounds like a sequle

Ripto's Rage is better, we meet Ripto for first time so better is that title where is his name (mine is Geteway )

Gateway to Glimmer sounds more epic than Ripto's Rage.
