Has there been any mention as to when TRU and other stores are expected to receive the Wave 3 Swappers in the US?

I missed out on the Target pre-ad stock and I know they're pretty bad in general for Skylanders stock so I've kinda given up on them for Wave 3 Swappers.

Sometime in January is the official release date.

Going off what ive heard which you can take with a grain of salt if you choose to do so. Target has the swappers for 2-4weeks from the 29th. Toysrus in turn has wave 3 for 2-4 weeks from the 22nd of Dec.
By Martin L Day here in the US wave 3 should be in other spots. As for the rest of wave 3 i'd say around there too

I don't see why everyone is in a gripe about target. Its not like its the only place you will ever get the 3 swappers. Why not patiently wait until they get their wide release instead of getting into a huff about target?

I think that most people are upset because of the way it was handled. It was put in their ad and most stores do not have any sort of stock for the swappers. I understand that this happens, but there should have been some better communication on Targets and Activisions part to make sure that this didn't happen.

Part of the problem is that people thought there was a release/street date for these. Which in reality from what I can gather is that we were told it would be put in the Dec 29th ad. Most people thought that was the release date. There was no actual release date on these and it was put them out if you got room. Where Target went wrong was they put them in their ad and put a big ol' Get 'em Here First by it.

I know that I can wait until they come out everywhere, it is just frustrating that the ball was dropped on it.

Well... that's kinda the whole point of this post. I was trying to find out when this 'wide release' is supposed to happen.

I wasn't griping about Target, but I definitely believe that their stock on Skylanders is kinda crummy overall. I shop at Target often and I usually swing by the Skylanders section just to browse and it's usually pretty disappointing.

It's been pretty lackluster this season---I remember counting on them quite a few times for Giants.
