Very true. I'm just pointing out Activision's stupidity of not releasing their products "worldwide" simultaneously. Instead, they release waves at separate parts of the world, which force real fans of their products to buy from scalpers...

It doesn't force you to do anything. Your impatience forces you to do that. Not sure if you knew this but not everything gets released worldwide at the same time.

Is this "promotional picture" fake? After seeing it, I requested real-time candid photos of it. If it's real, this will make us wonder if the remaining Wave 3 will be released soon...

Its a real picture of the lightcore version. Its the same one that Toys R Us has up (in error) currently of Countdown on their website.

Yup, the guy probably ordered them from TRU, and, stupidly enough, he's basically selling normal Countdown for that price. ._.

He probably ordered them from Europe (and apparently ordered several), but is using the picture with the US hook style (probably intentionally).

Problem is, Activision's shipping strategy (although improved) is still erratic...some countries are still waiting for a Series 2 Drobot. Given that some countries "patience" have been met with "no product", I can understand the anxiety. On the surface though your advice is appropriate.

The rest of wave 3 i see coming next month, patience.

It's really only a problem with later waves and variants. Stores are hesitant to order large quantities of figures for a 6+ month old game, which limits the ability to find new figures. Wave 3 isn't going to be a problem. Wave 4 is usually pretty good as well. But, anything that hits in April or later, well overseas is certainly a consideration. We never got significant quantities of Lightcore Pop Fizz or Chill, especially since Lightcores weren't exactly big movers.

I would imagine we will see Wham Shell and Countdown fairly soon, but Bumble Blast, who knows. I do know that it seems getting them now from Europe you will pay upwards of $45 for just those two with the cheapest, slowest shipping. That's too much in my book, particularly since it isn't in time for Christmas or anything. I really want those two, but the game is still hot now, especially since a whole swarm of kids are now getting to try it for the first time - so they will try to capitalize.

Now the Battle Pack and Adventure Pack, I have a strong feeling those are going to be a special thing with particular stores given their delays compared to overseas. If I had my guess, the Battle Pack will be something Gamestop does (they did something special for the two in Giants), and Adventure Pack TRU (they had an exclusive on Dragon's Peak).

I am new to this form but have been reading it for years. I think Swap Force will be my last Skylanders. What other game can you spend hundreds of dollars on and still some of us can not finish 100% because of spotty releases of charters. I am leaving for Afghanistan in days not weeks and was hoping to be able to find the last Swapers that I needed to get 100% I have put over 100 miles on my car the past two days looking and tired of it. No stores including Target have not even seen any of the wave 3 Swappers. I have other things to worry about in preparation and (to quote a pilot in the game) BOOM I am done with this headache. I have tried to find Activision to let them know that I am disappointed at this fact but all I see is call this number and I really want to just write the e-mail. Thank you for all of your interesting comments and I have had fun with the other releases but...

Hate to state the fact that acti does this cause theyw ant to, they want ppl going to stores to look for their stuff as it drags you into say target and while your there u get milk or something.

Customer Service Email

The only contact email we could find for Activision customer service was an email form http://www.activision.com/atvi...s.do?site=en_US located on the main Activision site. The page that lists the customer service email form also lists contact information for job seekers, press, media and developers.

But it listed there physical address, and if your going to write an email it's not to many more steps to print it & mail it. Snail mail has the advantage of having a bigger impact, due to the rarity of them now a days. If it doesn't get lost. Here's the address
