Wii U Giants vs. Wii Giants [CLOSED]

I am sorry to bother everyone, but I was wondering if there are any differences in the gameplay between Skylanders Giants for the Wii U and the Wii. I know there are some differences for Swap Force. My son just got the Wii U and I was wondering if it was worth it to go out and purchase Giants for the Wii U, since we already have it for the Wii. Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
