Well it sounds guyish. In fact did you know that in the Incredibles Edna's voice was done by a guy? Did you know that sometimes Tail's voice is done by a girl?

I did not know that.


It is very common in voice acting for women to do young male voices.

Ash (both voice actors)
Naruto
Black Star
Monkey D Luffy (both voice actors)
Tony Tony Chopper (ALL voice actors)
Ben Tennyson (10-year old)
Timmy Turner
Bart Simpson
and many more are all voiced by females.

When I first heard that terrible We Are Young by FUN song, I had trouble figuring out if it was a boy or girl singing that. Think it's a guy though

Tails has been voiced by women since the 4Kids people. Of course, Kate Higgins actually makes Tails sound like a guy now. So all is forgiven. ^.^
