I'm just curious on this? I'm on a few forums from cars to animals to paintballing and everyone of them has one. I'm not trying to promote scalping in any way. It just seems it would be very useful here. I see people posting they can't find basic characters (fire kraken,boomer etc). Then there are others saying there area is flooded with them. And now there's people looking for older stuff that have just got into this awesome game. I'm also assuming there are people on here getting out. It would be awesome to have this access on here. And yes i'm sure there are scalpers on here as well as i've contacted a couple people on here for stuff in there signature and they want as much as ebay/amazon. It just seems like a great idea. i'm sure people wouldnt mind paying retail plus shipping to get something sooner for an event (Christmas,birthday etc. Don't get me wrong the "HUNT" is half the fun, but in any case would be nice to have. Just my two cents.

There are loads of legal problems that can arise. There are hundreds, if not thousands of users on here, plus plenty of ones that laugh at the Skylanders community.

People can easily pretend that they have a specific character, and offer it to another person. The result: an upset kid, and/or a very angry adult.

Also, there could possibly be eBayers on here, advertising their overpriced listings, and hogging all of the good trade deals.

If we had a dollar for every time someone created this thread ....

There are zero legal issues (as far as the site goes).

The reason we don't have a b/s/t forum is because the guy who runs the site doesn't want one. That simple.

Legal problems?? This is a public forum. As i stated i'm on several forums and this is not an issue at all.

The admin doesn't allow buying/selling/trading on the forums. End of story. This forum is different from the forums you're used to that have buying and selling allowed.

despite the ban on buy/trade/sell it still goes on, but there will not be a thread for it as long as the Admin. does not allow it. There are other sites for b/s/t just search around for them. The site is a fan site and there are many under 18 users of this forum and thus the moratorium. Although I would like b/s/t to be an option, as a parent I do appreciate the Admin's stance on this as it protects young users (and older ones) from themselves and the devastation that would come from one of the many scalpers who lurk the site ripping the off. But this is still the best site for info on skylanders figures, games, accessories, and all of the classic Spyro era games that I have found

Bottim line--because the person who runs it won't allow it.

It is listed in the Forum Rules that buy/sell/trade topics are strictly forbidden. Admin's rules, end of story.
