Although the sale for buy 1 get 1 free is only supposed to be for Skylanders Giants, I noticed it works for Swap Force core figures as well on the TRU website. I tested out adding 2 Jolly Bumble Blast figures to my cart and the 2nd one comes out free, so 2 for $10.99 with free in store pickup. The swappers are 2 for $22.

Wow. Thanks. I've already spent more than I wanted for my son's Christmas. I do have a $5 eGift card, though. It's good until sometime in January, so I thought about just waiting until I pick up stuff for my daughter's birthday, but I might have to get in on this. My son does want Jolly Bumble Blast. I'd just have to figure out what other one to get him. I'd get a Legendary, but the only one at that price is Zoo Lou. I didn't bother trying Grim Creeper to see if he works, but he's $3 more. Or I can just use the $5 towards the big Tree Rex plush and have a gift for my daughter's birthday (she loves Tree Rex).

It's limit one deal per order, so if you need more than 2 figures, you will have to place separate orders in multiples of 2. This is a great deal for core figures. It would be even better if your TRU let you swap out ones you buy today at BOGO for the new ones to be released Sunday.

And that's when the deal becomes useless, due to shipping. I guess I've been spoiled with Amazon.

The deal is also in the store. In the store SSA is also BOGO. Didn't see a mention of a limit in store, but not totally sure about that.

I was just shopping there and noticed a regular smolderdash. So apparently at some stores they are ignoring the street date on the boxes in the back. Although that was the only one of the wave 3 that I saw.

Yeah, sometimes their late night stockers do that stuff, particularly when they store them in the overstock. They have a huge orange label on them though, so it will not be a common thing, the previous street date sticker was a little one in the corner - much easier to miss.

My store they have them stacked up back in the smaller security area (it's where they keep the high dollar stuff, like iPads, and is like a small closet type room). I'm pretty sure the late night stockers don't mess with that stuff, just the ones in the back and the overhead storage areas. When street dated things get put out early it is typically when the things weren't put back in security.

These BOGOs with a limit of one deal per customer is so annoying.

Seriously. I need to buy these 2 and then go back and get in line again so I can purchase another 2....Rinse, repeat....

Yea it works for the core figures because it says BOGO 10.99 or 15.99 giants character. While it works fine on the web it does not work in store unless you can buy online and pickup in store.

Is this deal online only?

Does it ring up in store?

The deal was online only. SSA figures are B1G1 all week in store and online. The Giants deal was today only (I believe in store as well). The Swap Force B1G1 was an error online. I do to think they were supposed to be B1G1, but they were ringing up that way. Only problem is that only those with a separate SKU (Jolly Bumble Blast, Legendaries) can be ordered online. They list others, but show "available in store" and not for pickup. It may be possible to order 2 Jollys and see if you can trade in store. I just ended up ordering Jolly and Legendary Zoo Lou. I did in store pickup so I didn't have to pay shipping.

I added a countdown and a zou lou and neither came off and this was at like 4-5ish est today so idk.

I just went to the website and saw that Zoo Lou didn't have the Buy 1 Get 1 Free listed on its page. Countdown and Legendary Zoo Lou did, though. However, they didn't seem to be ringing up B1G1. I then added Legendary Zoo Lou (which did list Buy 1 Get 1 Free) and it still didn't work. Of course, the sale is supposed to be over, but I tried adding two Skylander giants corelanders and it worked. I was about to say that maybe the fixed it somewhere down the line. But then I went back and tried adding a couple of different Swap Force figures and they had taken the Buy 1 Get 1 Free off of Countdown's page. So it's possible they are in the process of taking it down, now. It happened to me before about this same time. They changed the promo right as I went to order. I was trying to get Empire of Ice and the Legendary 3-pack both for $10. It was right in my cart, but disappeared right as I went to checkout. So who knows. All that is to say that maybe it's possible that regular Zoo Lou didn't have the Buy 1 Get 1 Free programmed. Or they fixed it before you ordered.


I ordered Jolly and Leg. Zoo Lou about 2:30 pm EST.
