With the release date of Dec 22, for some of Wave 3 and the extended Toys R Us hrs for a 87 straight marathon that was announced yesterday I figured I'd check if anyone in the Columbia area was going to be heading over before midnight. I know I've spoken with a few people in lines before that have mentioned being on the site but never really followed up beyond that.

Hey I'm a MD portal master, but sadly I'm from Olney so I have to get out further to go to places. Will try to check for some of wave 3 and thank you for opening a post for MD portal masters.

No, problem. Olney isnt a huge drive from Columbia. 22mins or so. but I get there are other locations probably closer to you. I like trying to help others find figures, and I'm to lazy and cheap to buy a camera worthy of doing my own YouTube channel for "hunting" purposes. Figured if nothing else I can use this to advise if I find anything of note. I normally frequent Laurel/Columbia on a fairly regular basis, so I'm always popping my head into the local brick and mortar stores. I havent been over to the Montgomery side of things for awhile.

If you are willing to come over to VA and head out by Dulles, I can tell you a couple of places where you can get Wave 3 right now. I got a couple I was after on the 16th (Monday). Reply or PM me if you want more info.

Were the swappers and pack there or was it just the cores?

Cores only for now but was told that we should see the Swappers Sat night/Sunday.

Virginia is sadly a little outside of my range this week based on work and the holidays. Appreciate the heads up, hopefully someone else might be able to take advantage of that.

Product on the shelves and for sale a full hour before the official release date despite claims by certain employees.

No new Lightcores seen however.

Glen Burnie, MD TRU had some Wave 3 at midnight, gone by 8:00 am unless they restocked.

Ellicott City Target has new swappers in stock.

Columbia store has them in stock. Boxes being opened on floor now

Rockville, Gaithersburg and Germantown Target have the swappers and I got all three.
